Job DescriptionDescription: This position is contingent upon successful contract proposal submission and award. Prevailance is seeking an experienced and mission-focused professional to serve as Mid-Level Technical Writing Support for the Commander, Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC). In this role, you will provide tactical and operational expertise to enhance the readiness and effectiveness of the Surface Force across multiple warfare domains. Occasional travel may be required. About SMWDC: SMWDC’s mission focuses on advancing the Navy's Surface Force through four key areas: • Advanced Tactical Training, • Doctrine and Tactical Guidance Development, • Operational Support, • SMWDC Headquarters, San Diego, CA, • Mine Warfare (MIW) Division, San Diego, CA, • Sea Combat (SC) Division, San Diego, CA, • Integrated Air & Missile Defense (IAMD) Division, Dahlgren, VA, • Develop, edit, and refine tactical documentation and training materials, • Create high-quality graphics and multimedia content for presentations and reports, • Draft, review, and update ASW and SUW-related doctrine and TTPs, • Support advanced tactical training aligned with SMWDC’s mission, • Analyze operational and training requirements to address gaps, • Collaborate with Navy leadership and cross-functional teams on deliverablesRequirements:, • Security Clearance: Possess current SECRET Security Clearance, • Education: Bachelor's Degree, • Experience:, • Minimum of 3 years of recent experience creating high-quality graphics for presentations, • Proficiency with Adobe software, such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, and Premiere, or equivalent tools, • Strong analytical skills to assess and improve tactical training and operational strategies, • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities for interfacing with Navy leadership and cross-functional teams Prevailance, Inc. proudly supports veterans as a member of the V3 (Virginia Values Veterans) program and the Hire Vets initiative.
