We’re looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable / Collections Manager to support our growing teams. Compensation is based on location, experience and ranges from $85,000 - $120,000 per year Benefits: PTO, 401(k), and full benefits package Position Overview: The Accounts Receivable / Collections Manager oversees the full order to cash cycle for a high volume, industrial services organization. This role ensures accurate billing, timely collections, and strong cashflow performance across multiple branch locations. The AR Manager leads a distributed team, partners closely with operations and project managers, and maintains disciplined processes that support both service and installation revenue streams. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced, field service environment where billing complexity, contract compliance, and customer relationships are central to success. Key Responsibilities: Billing & Revenue Cycle Management • Oversee all billing activities for service, installation, T&M, and contract based projects., • Maintain compliance with customer contract terms, lien requirements, and documentation standards., • Manage the full collections process, including aging review, escalations, and customer outreach., • Develop and execute strategies to reduce DSO and improve cashflow predictability., • Build strong relationships with customer AP departments to streamline payment cycles., • Lead, coach, and develop a team of AR specialists across multiple branch locations., • Establish clear KPIs, performance expectations, and accountability structures., • Collaborate with operations, sales, and project management to ensure timely and accurate billing inputs., • Standardize AR processes across branches to ensure consistency and compliance., • Implement best practices for documentation, approvals, and audit readiness., • Monitor and improve the order to cash workflow, identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies., • Implement Pre-lien process, • Prepare weekly and monthly AR reports, including aging summaries, DSO metrics, and cashflow forecasts., • Analyze trends and provide insights to senior leadership., • Support month end close activities Required Qualifications: • 5+ years of progressive AR experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role., • Experience in industrial services and construction based industries., • Strong understanding service based invoicing., • Experience with pre lien requirements, • Proven success managing AR for a company with $150M+ in annual revenue., • Experience managing AR across multiple branches or regions., • Familiarity with lien laws, waivers, and construction billing compliance., • Process improvement or system implementation experience., • Advanced Excel skills and comfort with data analysis., • Experience with 3rd party billing applications (i.e. VersaPay) Before You Leap: Some positions require travel and overnight stays.
