As Vice President of Project Management at Maverick Power, you will serve as the strategic leader driving execution excellence across our portfolio of high-impact projects. This role is responsible for overseeing the planning, prioritization, and delivery of complex, multi-site and million-dollar initiatives that support our rapid growth and operational expansion. The VP, Project Management will build and lead a high-performing project management organization, ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and aligned with business priorities. Partnering closely with senior leadership, operations, engineering, and cross-functional teams, you will establish consistent project governance, streamline processes, and create scalable systems that enable Maverick Power to deliver innovation and results with speed, quality, and discipline Key Responsibilities • Oversee project planning, engineering coordination, procurement, and delivery of large-scale, cross-functional projects to ensure alignment with business strategy and growth objectives., • Establish and maintain project governance standards, methodologies, and best practices that drive consistency and accountability., • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of project managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement., • Partner with executive leadership to prioritize initiatives and allocate resources effectively across competing priorities., • Monitor project budgets, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring successful completion within scope and financial targets., • Identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies while proactively resolving issues to minimize business disruption., • Negotiate major project contracts, change orders, and strategic partnerships., • Drive cross-functional alignment by collaborating with Operations, Engineering, HR, Finance, Supply Chain, and other departments., • Implement scalable project tracking and reporting systems to provide transparency and visibility to stakeholders at all levels., • Serve as the executive sponsor for key projects, ensuring leadership engagement and stakeholder communication., • Champion process improvements that enhance operational efficiency, project delivery speed, and quality of outcomes., • Partner with business development and sales teams to support client-facing initiatives, ensuring project commitments are met., • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, contractual, and safety requirements within project execution., • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred., • Minimum of 15 years of progressive project management experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing large, complex, cross-functional initiatives., • Proven success in building and leading high-performing project management teams in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment., • Strong expertise in project governance, risk management, budgeting, and resource allocation., • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization., • Experience in the manufacturing, energy, power distribution, or technology sectors, with a track record of leading large-scale, multi-site projects., • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
