We're #Brave #Agile #Keen #Engaged We are Bakers. And you?About the Role We're looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team! In this role, you'll operate up to three types of battery-powered equipment, each categorized by size and complexity (FLO1–FLO4). You'll receive comprehensive training and certification for each level, ensuring you're set up for success. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, values safety, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities As a Forklift Operator, you'll play a critical role in our warehouse operations by: • Safely operate forklifts and other lifting equipment (e.g., fork grapple, lamps, elevating platforms) to move, stack, tier, and transport materials., • Load and unload trailers, supply route drivers, and transport stock from production areas to freezers., • Position lifting devices under/around pallets, skids, boxes, and other materials to move them to designated areas., • Recharge batteries and inspect equipment before and after use., • Report equipment issues to maintenance concerns to shift supervisors., • High school diploma or GED minimum, individuals with food manufacturing, logistics and industrial experience welcomed to apply., • 1–3 years of forklift experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)., • Familiarity with GMP regulations, OSHA standards, and lock-out/tag-out procedures., • Working knowledge of SQF code and food safety practices (training provided)., • Comfortable working in cold environments and around mechanical equipment., • Valid driver's license., • People-first culture with a strong focus on safety and teamwork, • Growth opportunities and leadership development as a company we enjoy watching our bakers' growth., • Inclusive environment where your ideas matter At Europastry, we're committed to building a diverse and inclusive team.
