Job Description POSITION DESCRIPTION City Parks Foundation has offered a series of low-cost USTA sanctioned junior tournaments in NYC parks for 20+ years. We are seeking to hire an experienced tournament director or coach to organize and run our 2025 tournaments. These 2-3 day events will take place at parks throughout all 5 boroughs of NYC from July - September. The tournament director will be a part-time seasonal employee of the CityParks Play Department and report to the Director of Operations. The Production Assistant (PA) is an integral part of the daily production operations supporting the team from the ground. Guided by the Technical Manager, the PA will address technical, cosmetic, and facilities notes to deliver a high quality experience for our visitors. In addition to their primary responsibilities, this role will be a part of a larger ARTECHOUSE team that works together to ensure an exceptional experience for our guests. Job Description POSITION SUMMARY Learning Gardens brings year-round, field and school-based garden science learning to NYC school children and community members. Our gardens are outdoor classrooms that provide vibrant green space in some of New York City’s most densely populated neighborhoods. We operate three gardens in three boroughs. Using our four community gardens, CPF presents engaging interdisciplinary lessons to expand student learning around urban ecology, horticulture, soil science, and sustainable urban food systems. Students in 2nd – 8th grade and their teachers receive resource materials, curricula, and tools to enhance their understanding of ecosystem services and address the unique challenges of growing food in an urban environment. High School interns are trained in garden instruction and horticultural techniques throughout the spring and then work alongside Learning Gardens staff throughout the summer. The Seasonal Garden Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day field operations in our main Learning Gardens located in Brownsville, South Jamaica, and the South Bronx. This includes garden maintenance, repairs, coordinating volunteer events, and assisting the community gardener program. The ideal candidate will be an excellent time manager, able to multitask, very well-organized, and an effective communicator. This is a seasonal, 8-month position reporting to the Director of Education and assisting the school day and internship program managers. This role is centered on Mint House at 70 Pine by Kasa as the core property, with direct accountability for shaping its commercial strategy and voice in the New York City market. Beyond 70 Pine, the Director of Sales will influence how Kasa as an organization leverages our technology, data, and distribution to become the premier group and corporate stay option for clients across our portfolio. Like any role at a fast-paced start-up, there is no 'typical day', but you will be responsible for owning the sales strategy and execution plan for Mint House at 70 Pine by Kasa in a defined area, targeting all market segments including leisure travel, corporate preferred, Business Transient (BT), groups, and SMERF.
