Job Description Position Title: Security Supervisor Department: Safety & Security Reports to: Director of Safety & Security Position Summary The Security Supervisor is responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment across Philadelphia Orchestra & Ensemble Arts (POEA) facilities while overseeing and directing Security Officers on duty. This role provides leadership, direction, guidance, and accountability to all Security Officers and ensures that all Safety & Security Department policies and procedures are consistently followed and enforced. This leader will anchor communications around three strategic pillars: proactive and strategic institutional and external visibility, internal engagement, and crisis response. The VP will develop communications strategies that elevate The Philadelphia Orchestra’s global artistic leadership, while also celebrating Ensemble Arts Philly’s role as the city’s performing arts hub that represents a variety of genres. With a primary focus on team member and labor relations, this position also manages core P&C functions including performance management, policy administration, compliance, talent management, and P&C operations. The Manager, P&C serves as a trusted advisor to leaders and team members across artistic, production, technical, and administrative functions. This role balances the complexities of collective bargaining agreements with organizational goals, legal compliance, and the unique workforce demands of a performing arts environment. Salaries are based on prior experience and in accordance with certification requirements. KIPP NJ offers a competitive salary range of $63,000-$101,000+ for teacher positions with additional opportunities for earning up to $5,500 annually in performance-based pay.
