Ensure that all recommendations made by clinicians are implemented., • Review sociotherapist’s documentation and approve before finalized in Connections., • Review and ensure all behavioral plans are current and documented in Connections., • Inform, train and monitor Sociotherapists on foster care standards and youth development skill building. This includes the development and implementation of individualized ABC Behavioral Plans, Individual Crisis Intervention Plans, Safety Plans, and Treatment Plans as needed., • Supervise Sociotherapist’s collaboration with the case planner regarding behavioral and emotional issues presented in the foster home and in family visitation., • Ensure Sociotherapist, foster parent and youth participation in the development of Behavior Plans., • Attend Family Team Conferences and ensure the attendance of the Sociotherapist, treatment foster parent and youth at the Family Treatment Conference. Ensure that applicable Action Plans developed during FTCs are implemented., • Supervise the monitoring of a foster parent’s ability to provide therapeutic services and environment to childen and youth and that they understand and effectively utilize behavior plans., • Facilitate Quarterly Foster Parent Meetings, including Sociotherapists, to further collaboration with foster parents, to reinforce expectations of therapeutic treatment of youth and use of the Behavior Plans, address any issues pertaining to sociotherapist services, and to update any practice and policy initiatives., • Review and approve Sociotherapist’s documentation for FASPS, Permanency Hearing Reports, and court reports., • Ensure Sociotherapist’s attendance at all agency mandated trainings and supervises the Sociotherapist in the integration training into practice. Encourage participation in other training opportunities for professional development, • Evaluate Sociotherapist’s performance per agency’s performance management policy., • Lead the implementation of the Sanctuary Model of trauma-informed practice within the department/program., • Encourage and advance the use of the Sanctuary Model tools, i.e., safety plans, community meetings, psycho-educational groups, team meetings, red flag reviews, treatment planning conferences (or similar), and self-care in the department/program to create a non-violent and trauma-sensitive culture., • Promote and model practice that contributes to a non-violent environment and a trauma-sensitive culture., • Integrate the Sanctuary Model S.E.L.F (Safety, Emotional Management, Loss, and Future) framework into daily practice to ensure quality care and an effective work environment., • Utilize Coaching Model principals in the supervisory practice., • Perform other duties as assigned. Job Description MST Therapist About the Position: You will receive ongoing training in the Multisystemic Therapy (MST) model as you work with families, youth, their communities, and other key members of their ecology to implement MST as designed. Extensive research has proven the effectiveness of MST. MST therapists do whatever it takes, via close collaboration with all involved, to address the needs of adolescents returning from residential placement for mental health, trauma and, in some cases, substance abuse. You will empower families to address challenging and/or problematic behavior and to help youth aged 12 – 17 ½ make life-transforming changes. Treatment progress is made through intensive interventions such as skill building, changing unhelpful family interactions, and increasing social support, to name a few. Location: Bronx, New York and Staten Island, NY Duties & Responsibilities • Provide direct clinical treatment using the MST treatment model and principles. Job DescriptionTitle: Crew Liaison Unit: ATLAS Hope Program Salary: $32.30 - $32.97 per hour Reports to: Crew Manager Status: Full Time; Regular, Non-Exempt Location: 502 East 163rd Street, Bronx, NY 10451 Days/Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm Position Summary ATLAS Hope aims to add to the existing community violence intervention and prevention strategies in New York City by creating a continuum of care for adult men most likely to engage in serious community violence and least likely to receive the supportive services necessary to end cycles of trauma and violence. The ATLAS Hope program aims to meet the economic, emotional, and mental health needs of adult men, ages 25 and older who have had a history of trauma, lived experience with violence, and involvement in the criminal legal system by providing outreach, transitional employment, behavioral health supports delivered primarily through CBI, and coaching and case management. Crew Liaisons are responsible for supervising, supporting, and inspiring ATLAS Hope participants who are engaged in transitional employment through a trauma-informed and restorative justice lens on and off the worksite and during remote sessions, and adhering to the model prescribed by UWNYC, philosophies and approaches, manuals and policies, exude a collegial nature that is rooted in authentic engagement, and relish in the opportunity to collaborate with members across teams proactively. POSITION OVERVIEW: The Assistant Director will work closely with the Program Director in providing leadership to the staff of the 4 Children Community Residences and will make certain that all program goals are implemented in line with Agency expectations and practices.
