Job Description Waltham, MA (West Boston preferred) We’re looking for a dependable, kind, and professional Real Estate Photographer to join our small, growing team. If you’re flexible, comfortable learning new things, and love interacting with people, this could be a great fit. A little camera experience is preferred, but no professional photography background is required. All gear and training are provided. What matters most is your reliability, responsiveness, and genuine care for clients. About the Role • Travel to properties within a 30-mile radius of Waltham and the Boston area, • Capture real estate photo (and eventually video) content using company-provided equipment, • Represent the brand with professionalism, warmth, and strong communication, • Upload raw photo/video files (no editing required), • Follow a clear checklist and workflow for each shoot, • Obtain your FAA Part 107 drone license quickly after hiring (company provides guidance and support) Pay Structure • Paid training: $25 per hour (fixed rate during training), • Standard photoshoots: $25 per unit (each unit = 60 minutes of scheduled on-site time), • With FAA Part 107 drone license: $30 per unit, • With video training completed: $35 per unit, • Additional services: Paid based on project scope Ideal Candidate • Lives within ~30 miles of Waltham, MA (West Boston area preferred for central access), • Confident driving in Boston and surrounding suburbs (including winter conditions), • Has strong availability Monday-Wednesday mornings and early afternoons, with some weekend flexibility, • Friendly, genuine, and professional with strong people skills, • Highly responsive and dependable - communicates quickly and clearly, • Organized and detail-oriented; follows checklists and confirms uploads without reminders, • Can think on their feet and problem-solve independently when layouts or situations vary, • Comfortable learning new processes and applying feedback, • Excited to grow with a small, friendly, but high-performing team, • Already has or is ready to obtain the FAA Part 107 drone license quickly after hiring, • Basic camera familiarity strongly preferred; video experience a plus This Role Is Great For • People from hospitality, retail, or customer service backgrounds who love interacting with clients, • Self-starters who thrive in flexible, independent work, • Reliable, confident individuals looking for a steady, creative part-time role, • Anyone who wants to grow into drone and video work and take on more responsibility over time What Can Be Challenging We want to be upfront - this role isn’t for everyone. • Since bookings vary, your schedule will too. You’ll have flexibility to block off days when you’re unavailable, but most shoots take place between 9AM-5PM on weekdays, with the occasional evening or Saturday option if clients request it., • There’s a lot of driving (sometimes up to an hour between properties) and navigating back and forth through traffic will be a daily activity., • Shoots are usually booked 2-4 days in advance, so flexibility is key, • You’ll need to stay organized, tech-savvy, and punctual If you love being out and about, working with people, and learning by doing - you’ll thrive here. ROLE OVERVIEW BioLabs is seeking a Lab Operations Manager for our Watertown site, reporting to the Regional Site Director. This is a hands-on, fully on-site position supporting life science entrepreneurs in a vibrant, collaborative environment. The Lab Operations Manager will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our shared laboratory and facilities while contributing to the success of early-stage biotech companies. This position requires a highly capable, self-directed individual who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting and can balance independent execution with collaborative teamwork. RESPONSIBITIES • Manage the daily operations of the lab and facility, including emergency responses., • Oversee laboratory and facility equipment management, including purchasing, installation, preventative maintenance, repairs, and cleaning; manage relationships with equipment vendors., • Act as the site EHS officer, ensuring chemical inventories, SDS databases, and hazardous waste protocols are up to date., • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety protocols., • Lead the resident onboarding and offboarding process, including equipment training., • Foster a collaborative and safe lab environment; ensure all spaces and infrastructure are kept clean and in good repair., • Manage lab supply inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining space allocation., • Respond to and be available for site and lab-related issues outside regular business hours as part of the on-call rotation, identify potential issues and apply independent judgment and discretion to solve issues without immediate supervision., • Participate in network teams to explore, create, and enact best practices across the network., • Other duties as needed. QUALIFICATIONS • Minimum bachelors degree in biology/chemistry, genetics, or related life sciences discipline; masters degree preferred., • Minimum of five (5) years lab management experience in academic and/or commercial laboratory environment., • Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory or managerial experience leading technical or operations staff., • Advanced knowledge of cellular, molecular, and microbiology techniques, safety and chemical & biological waste management, equipment decontamination and maintenance., • Willingness to be on-call for site-related issues and attend after-hours events, ability to handle emergencies with independent judgment., • Ability to understand the mission and goals of resident companies, scientific milestones, and the commercialization process., • Customer service focused, with an excellent work ethic and an optimistic attitude., • Detail oriented with specific attention to quality control., • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, an effective listener and proactive relationship builder., • Self-motivated, routinely initiate and deliver projects successfully with minimal supervision., • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and/or projects, experience with billing, budgeting, and reporting., • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications., • Must be able to lift over 50 pounds and be able to stand for multiple hours at a time., • Ability to travel to other BioLabs locations (domestic & international).
