Job Description • We are looking for weekend help., • Shifts are nine hours 8am to 5pm and we would love to find somone that can work a set schedule every month, but can be flexible there., • Ideally, 2-4 shifts a month but again can be flexible month to month. Responsibilities • Perform complete, detailed, and accurate health histories, review patient records, develop comprehensive medical assessments, and order laboratory, radiological and diagnostic studies appropriate for complaint, race, sex, and physical condition of the patient, • Formulate medical and nursing diagnoses and institute therapy or referrals of patients to the appropriate health care facilities, agencies, and other resources of the community or physician, • Institute emergency measures and emergency treatment or appropriate stabilization measures in situations such as cardiac arrest, shock, hemorrhage, convulsions, poisoning, and allergic reactions, • Interpret and analyze patient data to determine patient status, patient management and treatment, • Provide instructions and guidance regarding health care and health care promotion to patients/family/ significant others, • Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family, • Professional appearance and attitude, • AANP or NCCPA Board Certified (with 1 yr ER/UC experience preferred), • Active and current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of practice, DEA number, and state-controlled substance certificate, as required
