Our purpose is to create lifetime relationships for long-term recovery.Visit us online: Benefits for Therapist include: • Caring, challenging, and Rewarding work environment, • Competitive Compensation, • Generous Paid Time Off, • Excellent Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Drug Plans, • 401K with Matching Funds, • Career Development opportunities within UHS and its 300+ Subsidiaries What do our current Therapists like about working at Talbott Recovery? • Team Collaboration, • Watching the patient growth and development, • Beautiful modern Campus, • Highly talented Clinical Team, • Facilitate individual and group equineassisted sessions in alignment with program goals and participant needs, • Prepare and maintain horses for sessions, ensuring their health, safety, and welfare, • Create emotionally and physically safe environments for participants and animals, • Guide participants through structured equineassisted activities focused on selfawareness, communication, emotional regulation, and personal development, • Clearly communicate expectations, boundaries, and safety protocols prior to and during sessions, • Observe participant interactions and provide appropriate, strengthbased feedback, • Adapt activities to accommodate participant abilities, emotional readiness, and comfort levels, • Collaborate with clinical staff, therapists, educators, or case managers when applicable, • Maintain session documentation, progress notes, attendance records, and consent forms as required, • Support stable operations, including grooming, feeding coordination, equipment use, and arena safety, • Uphold ethical standards, confidentiality, and organizational policies, • Certification or formal training in equineassisted services, equinefacilitated learning, or equineassisted therapy (e.g., EAGALA, PATH Intl., or equivalent), • Demonstrated experience handling and working safely with horses, • Strong understanding of horse behavior and nonverbal communication, • Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills, • Ability to work with diverse populations in supportive, respectful ways, • Experience working in behavioral health, youth services, traumainformed programs, or special populations, • Training in traumainformed care or experiential learning models, • Experience collaborating with licensed therapists or clinicians, • CPR/First Aid certification, • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, • Ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift equipment (up to approximately 50 lbs), • Ability to safely lead, groom, and care for horses, • Outdoor arenas, barns, paddocks, and riding facilities, • Exposure to animals, dirt, dust, and weather elements, • Flexible scheduling; evenings or weekends may be required EEO Statement All UHS subsidiaries are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.
