Job Description Server Engineer (Senior Level) We are seeking an experienced Server Engineer to join our team! This role focuses on building, managing, and maintaining physical, virtual, and cloud-based server environments to ensure high performance, security, and reliability across our client base. Responsibilities: * Design, build, and maintain Windows Server environments (physical and virtual) * Configure and manage Hyper-V and VMware virtual infrastructures * Deploy and manage Azure and other cloud-based servers and services * Troubleshoot complex server and Active Directory issues (replication, GPO, authentication, etc.) * Plan and implement server upgrades, migrations, and performance improvements * Manage system backups, recovery plans, and disaster recovery processes * Implement security best practices for server hardening and access control * Monitor system health, performance, and capacity * Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, build procedures, and technical guides Qualifications: * Proven experience with Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022) * Strong hands-on experience with Hyper-V and/or VMware virtualization * Experience with Azure server buildouts, configuration, and management * Solid understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy * Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation and administration * Understanding of backup technologies and disaster recovery procedures * Knowledge of server security and patch management best practices * Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills * Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with attention to detail Company DescriptionSRT has been serving Northeast Georgia since 2005.
