Job Description We are looking for an engaging and experienced Bartenders/Servers to provide attentive and friendly service to our patrons. You must have extensive knowledge of different types of beer, wine, and liquor, and know how to mix a variety of specialty beverages along with knowing our food we cook at Pangea. We expect our team members to engage with our customers while always being aware of how much people are drinking and looking for signs that someone has had too much to drink. You will also be responsible for balancing cash, taking inventory of stock, and replenishing or ordering more when necessary. Team Member Duties and Responsibilities • Take orders from customers or wait staff and serving drinks as requested, • Mix drinks using an extensive range of ingredients including liquor, bitters, soda, water, sugar, and fruits, • Check identification to verify legal age requirements for all customers, • Monitor all patrons for alcohol intake to appropriate levels, • Assist in ensuring patrons have a safe ride home, calling a taxi or Uber when appropriate, • Provide a positive and friendly guest experience by interacting with patrons, • High school diploma or equivalent, • Must be able to lift 20-pound boxes and stand for an 8-hour shift, • Strong customer service and interpersonal skillsCompany DescriptionPangea is a chef and hospitality driven restaurant built on excellence and genuine connections.
