BASIC PURPOSE: To provide a safe and reliable fleet by performing preventative maintenance and proper repairs on all fleet equipment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace and complete all required repairs on diesel equipment (i.e., tractors, trailers, bobtails, lift gates, etc.). * Perform preventative maintenance within DOT standards. * Receive road calls, assign third party vendor, and work with business partners on plan of action. * Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules/regulations and government guidelines. * Utilize fleet maintenance software system tablet to fully document equipment repair and parts used. * Backup to other maintenance shop personnel. * Willingness and capacity to assume increased responsibility and certificates. * Other duties as assigned by manager. JOB SUMMARY This position is responsible to lead one or more construction projects and for the management of the overall planning, scheduling, code compliance, cost tracking, safety, and completion of these projects. The Superintendent is responsible for directing and mentoring subcontractors and other on-site field staff. The position requires business management acumen and must demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and time management skills, as well as have strong communication and team building skills. WORK HOURS: Weekdays 7 am to 5 pm; Saturdays 7 am- 1pm, as required. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assure the required permits and approvals from jurisdictional agencies are secured, posted, and renewed as required prior to starting work., • Develop, update, modify (as required) and maintain the project schedule including a master schedule, 60-day look ahead schedules for their assigned trades, and two-week look ahead schedules for their assigned trades., • Understand and be familiar with the date by which all materials must arrive on the job and convey that information to the project management team for preparation of the contract items lists and shop drawing schedules., • Coordinate scheduling of subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors to complete each project on time., • Communicate with and support each subcontractor to execute their job duties effectively and efficiently., • Monitor work and materials to ensure quality control standards are met at various stages of the project., • Perform inspections or schedule inspectors to meet the varying safety and compliance regulations of each job location., • Prepare the daily construction reports in a thorough and timely manner and maintain a written daily log of visitors, job actions performed, materials expended, and problems resolved on the job site., • Assure daily job progress photographs are taken in ample quantity to accurately depict the progress of the work., • Travel between multiple job sites and simultaneously manage work loads of individual projects, • Understand and ensure risk controls are properly established and maintained., • Understand and uphold the site safety plan., • Understand and uphold the site logistics plan., • Assure the implementation and continuous maintenance of corporate safety program requirements in all of the day-to-day operations on the project., • Prepare and attend the weekly subcontractor meetings. Assist in maintaining the minutes of these meetings, and ensure they are recorded and distributed., • Prepare and manage weekly safety meetings, regular toolbox talks, and safety pre task meetings as required., • Attend weekly meetings with the project team for purposes of updates on the status of the field work and communication of any issues requiring the input or action of others on the project team, and for notification to the project team of issues that may be of importance or interest to them., • Establish and maintain a system of document control to assure work is being installed in accordance with the latest design documentation and approved shop drawings., • Communicate any issues requiring additional information from designers and consultants in a timely fashion to the project manager for issuance of RFI’s., • Assist in preparation of the monthly status report to be submitted to the lender. REQUIREMENTS: • Requires Engineering, Construction Management or related Bachelor’s degree, OR equivalent years of related experience., • Requires 10+ years of experience in Stick-frame Multi-Family Residential Construction. Job Description SPORTIME owns and operates 17 tennis, pickleball, sports, camp and fitness clubs across NYS, including sites across Long Island, in Westchester, Manhattan, the Capital Region and New Jersey. Several of these locations currently feature both dedicated and/or “blended” pickleball courts, and offer court-time, instruction and related programs. SPORTIME is in the active process of creating and scaling its new pickleball division, the purpose of which is to own or lease, and operate, dedicated indoor and outdoor pickleball sites in our current markets and in others nearby. JOB SUMMARY The Housekeeping staff personnel performs all of the necessary janitorial and maintenance tasks inside the club house, offices, and locker rooms. As needed the Housekeeping staff is also responsible for the daily cleaning and maintaining of the tennis courts. This position also involves all outdoor maintenance of the grounds and surrounding area to the facility. Additional duties may be assigned as they develop. This is a hands-on, full-time or part-time working position, depending on the facility. The majority of work will be conducted in an office setting Approximately 100% of the work is conducted outdoors. Worker must be able to walk frequently on uneven hard and soft ground/terrain in all types of weather conditions to include cold, hot rain, snow, ice, etc. Employees working in the field may also be exposed to sun, wind, insects, plants, animals, etc. As a result, appropriate clothing for outdoor work, work boots, safety glasses, hard hat, safety vest is required while working in the field. Base salary $50,000–$70,000, + mileage reimbursement, benefits, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, professional development opportunities, 401(k), and bonus potential.
