Job DescriptionBenefits: • 401(k), • Competitive salary We are seeking an experienced Womens Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of clinical experience in womens health, providing high-quality, evidence-based care to women across the lifespan. You will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive gynecologic, reproductive, prenatal, and preventive services. Key Responsibilities • Provide primary and specialty care to women, including annual well-woman exams, family planning, contraception counseling, preconception counseling, prenatal and postpartum care, and management of menopause, • Perform gynecological assessments (pelvic exams, Pap smears, screening tests), • Diagnose and manage common womens health conditions (e.g., infections, menstrual disorders, hormonal issues), • Provide obstetric care in collaboration with obstetricians (if applicable), • Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests (e.g., labs, imaging), • Prescribe medications, contraceptives, and hormonal therapies, per state and organizational scope of practice, • Offer health promotion, disease prevention, and patient education (including sexual and reproductive health), • Develop and maintain patient care plans, document patient encounters, and maintain accurate medical records in the EHR system, • Coordinate care and refer patients to specialists as needed, • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, protocol development, and evidence-based practice implementation, • Provide counseling and support around reproductive decisions, fertility, and family planning, • Masters or Doctoral degree in Nursing (NP program), • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of New York, • Certification as a Womens Health Nurse Practitioner (e.g., through a nationally recognized body), • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in womens health (gynecology, reproductive health, prenatal care, etc.), • Strong knowledge of womens health issues across the lifespan, • Excellent assessment, diagnostic, and clinical decision-making skills, • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems, • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to educate and counsel patients, • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, • Commitment to culturally competent, patient-centered care, • Experience in underserved or community health settings, • Bilingual (e.g., Spanish), • Experience in quality improvement or protocol development, • Full-time (or specify part-time), • (Optionally) On-call responsibilities, if relevant Estimated Salary: • $125,000 - $135,000, • Health, dental, and vision insurance, • Retirement plan (e.g., 401k or 403b), • Paid time off (PTO), sick leave, and holidays, • Malpractice insurance reimbursement after 1 year, • Be part of a mission-driven team providing high-quality, women-centered care, • Opportunity to grow professionally and influence womens health initiatives, • Supportive, collaborative environment with physicians, midwives, and other clinicians, • Commitment to equity, diversity, and patient-centered care
