Job DescriptionJob Title: Warehouse Supervisor Job Description The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations in the warehouse, ensuring all business requirements related to timely receiving, storage, picking, and shipping of products are met while maintaining food safety. The role also involves compliance with legal, safety, and quality standards. Responsibilities • Monitor warehouse operations to ensure optimal productivity, efficiency, safety, and quality., • Maintain optimal housekeeping levels at all times., • Ensure all employees are organized and on time at the start of the shift., • Understand and apply performance metrics for warehouse activities., • Ensure proper stock rotation and organization for all product categories., • Ship Finished Goods to customers in FEFO order with correct lot codes., • Ensure Finished Goods are picked accurately and shipped according to shelf-life agreements and quality standards., • Complete and update all warehouse documentation correctly., • Maintain up-to-date and accurate SAP transactions., • Receive materials accurately and in a timely manner., • Store materials accurately and safely., • Communicate operational, inventory, safety, and quality issues to Management, QA, Customer Service, and Production., • Enforce adherence to company policies and procedures by colleagues and outside contractors., • Generate accident reports for employee accidents or near misses and participate in investigations., • Provide job training for employees, maintain training records, and forward copies to the H&S Manager., • Evaluate capex requirements with the manager to enhance warehouse performance., • Ensure receiving, picking, and shipping operations are efficient., • Ensure equipment operates safely and according to company food safety policies., • Organize and supervise employees at the start of their shift., • Monitor and manage overtime to prevent abuse., • Provide hands-on supervision to motivate warehouse workers towards continuous process improvements., • Integrate performance criteria into daily activities., • Anticipate and address issues impacting warehouse performance effectively., • Resolve worker grievances through effective listening and firm actions., • Facilitate team processes and understand the big picture., • Embrace supervisory responsibilities and accept accountability for success and failure.Essential Skills, • Extensive practical knowledge in warehouse, safety, and HACCP standards., • Excellent verbal and written communication skills., • Experience in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment., • Capability to organize, plan, and execute tasks reliably and independently., • Logical thinking and conflict resolution skills., • Ability to facilitate changes by influencing others through an analytical approach., • Proficiency in MS Office., • Experience with SAP is preferred.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • High School Diploma or GED., • Bilingual capabilities., • Prior experience in inventory, warehouse management, supervision, forklift operation, shipping and receiving, inventory control, warehouse operations, picking, packing, supervisory skills, material handling, packaging, and use of RF scanners.Why Work Here? Work Environment The work schedule is Monday and Friday from 5:30 AM to 3 PM, and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7 AM to 4 PM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Doral, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
