    Job Overview We are a mission-driven nonprofit that funds Harlem-based organizations devoted to Arts and Culture, Housing and Affordability, Economic and Workforce Development, Health & Human Services, Older Adults and Youth Enrichment. We are seeking an experienced, strategic Grant Writer or Grant Writing Consultancy to help us identify and secure new funding streams and position the organization for long-term sustainability. Requirements The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of successful institutional grant writing experience, demonstrated success in securing six- and seven-figure grants and familiarity with the NYC philanthropic and government funding landscape. The successful candidate will develop and execute a comprehensive grant strategy, identify foundation, corporate, and government funding opportunities aligned with our mission, research and cultivate relationships with new institutional funders, prepare compelling grant proposals and collaborate with leadership on messaging and case-making. Salary and Benefits Annual Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 commensurate with experience and abilities/skills. Benefits: A generous benefits package includes full health insurance coverage, 3 weeks of vacation, and other attractive benefits. Please be aware that contracted workers are not eligible for WHDC benefits.
