About the Role The Associate – Multimedia – AV Specialist is part of the fast‑paced Multimedia department and is responsible for the technical maintenance and performance of 4 Global Bridge immersive telepresence studios across Madrid, Barcelona, Boston and Chicago. The position is both technical and service oriented. The candidate will need to be comfortable with troubleshooting live AV signal flows & documenting maintenance, as well as supporting internal and external clients directly with clear communication and timely response. In between live sessions, your time may be spent editing, processing media, or attending video recording sessions. Key Responsibilities Ensure technical performance, availability and quality of the Global Bridge immersive telepresence rooms across all sites. Provide live support during Hybrid sessions, including pre‑session checks, during session monitoring, and rapid incident response. Actively assist in real time event production and operation such as camera switching, audio adjusting, presenter support and stream supervision. Diagnose and resolve incidents across the AV signal path like video switchers, audio DSPs, control processors, displays, etc. Maintenance of workstations and supporting infrastructure like Windows PCs, Apple devices, drivers, software, etc… Documenting incidents, performing root cause analysis, and prescribing resolution steps in a timely manner. Coordinate with external vendors and clients for interventions, repairs, and scheduled maintenance. Communicate with internal stakeholders across departments using both English and Spanish, adjusting to different situations, channels, and technical knowledge. Support team on filming sessions, including setup & capture, and with postproduction using Adobe Suite. Required Skills & Profile AV Technical Knowledge Solid working knowledge of professional AV systems: Video: resolutions, frame rates, signal flow, formats. Connectivity and signal distribution. Control systems: understanding of control flow and logic. Networking: IP addressing, subnets, AV over IP concepts. Streaming: encoding, bitrates, RTMP/SRT using platform configurations like Zoom, YouTube, Teams, and OBS. USB concepts applied to AV. Wireless AV systems Basic knowledge of fiber optic systems presence in AV. Basic working knowledge of production and post‑production workflows: Experience in video and audio recording. Experience in video and audio editing using Adobe CC including After Effects. Infrastructure and operational knowledge Windows administration at basic technical level: installation, recovery, driver management, basic troubleshooting. Usage of remote desktop software including TeamViewer and Microsoft RDP. Soft Skills Ability to work under pressure, e.g. live events. Service mindset and clear communication skills with non‑technical and technical partners. Proactive, methodical and practical use of knowledge to approach recurring and new issues at root cause and not only symptom level. Working level of both English and Spanish, written and spoken. Working Conditions Based in Madrid/Barcelona with occasional travel across the different studio sites. Standard working hours with flexibility required around live events, which may occur during outside working hours due to time zone differences between Europe and Americas. Mixed work environment meaning office visits in Madrid, remote support and coordination, including studios and on‑location event assistance. Light physical activity involved, such as cable management and equipment handling.
