About the role We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join our EMEA IT Support team, based in Barcelona, with a strong focus on supporting the German market. In this role, you will provide high-quality remote IT support to end users across EMEA, acting as a key contact for incidents, requests, and workplace IT needs. You will also be involved in hardware lifecycle management, onboarding of new employees, and collaboration with global IT teams to ensure stable and secure IT services. This is a hands-on role with visibility, responsibility, and real impact on the daily work of our employees. Key responsibilities • Provide remote IT support from Barcelona to users across EMEA, with a primary focus on German-speaking users, • Handle incidents and service requests related to hardware, software, and internal IT infrastructure, ensuring timely resolution, • Install, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals according to global IT standards, • Support user onboarding and offboarding, including equipment preparation and basic IT guidance, • Work closely with Global IT teams and local stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently, • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers when required, • Monitor and support IT security measures, including software and antivirus updates, • Maintain accurate IT documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles, • Support asset management, inventory tracking, and hardware lifecycle planning, • Act as a reliable IT contact for local management and contribute to reporting activities Skills & experience • Proven experience in an IT Support / IT Service Desk role within a corporate environment, • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and standard workplace IT tools, • Experience with ITSM / ticketing tools (ServiceNow is a strong plus), • Solid understanding of PC hardware, basic networking (TCP/IP), and remote support tools, • German language (native or C-level) is mandatory; good English communication skills required, • Structured, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, • Customer-oriented mindset with strong communication skills, • Proactive, reliable, and comfortable working as part of a global IT organisation across time zones What we offer • Hybrid working model (office and home), • International and dynamic work environment in Barcelona, • Supportive and collaborative IT team with a strong knowledge-sharing culture, • Opportunities for professional development and career growth, • Involvement in global IT projects within an international organisation, • A role with real responsibility and visibility, supporting users across EMEA If you feel this role aligns with your experience and career goals, please click “Apply” and share your CV.
