ppThe Project Engineer is responsible for understanding the technical requirements of the project, thoroughly reviewing design documents, specifications, references, and project scope. The Senior Project Engineer coordinates and prepares all technical documentation to build a prefabricated solution according to customer requirements within schedule and defined quality. /p h3What will you do? /h3 ul liThoroughly understand the design documents, specifications, references, and project scope. /li liKeep minutes for all regular and technical design meetings. /li liIdentify, review, collect, verify and store all project technical documents as they are available during the project. /li liMaintain the general project files according to internal procedures (Autodesk Construction Cloud, Sharepoint, etc.). /li liMaintain the Engineering issues Log Project Engineer Book (Sharepoint folder). /li liDevelop approval drawings to meet customer scope (Submittal Package). /li liPerform change management for design documents and customer submittals. /li liTrack all technical design deviations and notify project/design team for resolution. /li liManage all engineering works schedule and assign tasks to designers and SMEs (specialists). /li liDevelop major BOM (Bill of Material) for the project. /li liCoordinate internal periodic design reviews with designers and SMEs (Execution phase). /li liCreate and distribute submittal requests based on project requirements. /li liMaintain and track submittals and shop drawings. /li liMaintain and track engineering hours budget. /li liMaintain current design documents with all addenda and redlines. /li liPerform QC during the integration phase to ensure compliance with design documents. /li liManage handover of all engineering documentation to Factory Production Specialists. /li liPrepare all final documentation for the project including as-built drawings, certificates, OM documents, spare part lists. /li liSecure all warranties and guarantees from subcontractors and vendors as defined in the design documents, specifications, and contract. /li liEnsure all changes to the design documents are redlined to manage the final as-built documents. /li /ul h3General duties include: /h3 ul liCoaching Junior Project Engineers during large or complex projects while working together in a customer project. /li liWorking with Technical Leaders or Project Managers to deliver technical information to customers on time. /li liWorking with Factory Production Specialists to resolve questions during the execution of the project. /li liEstablishing, maintaining, conducting, and policing detailed procedures for the submittal review, coordination, approval, and distribution of shop drawings, samples, etc. /li liEstablishing and maintaining all Project Engineering files related to subcontract and bid package records, plans, specifications, changes, clarifications, and as-built documents. /li /ul h3About You /h3 h3What qualifications will make you successful? /h3 ul libEducation /b – University bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred). /li libExperience /b – 1 to 3 years working on Engineering for Construction or Engineering for Automotive Industry. /li libExperience (not mandatory but valuable) /b – Data Center critical infrastructure knowledge (Power, Cooling, Monitoring); Building construction or industrial installations (Cabling, lighting, piping, plumbing). /li libSkills /b – ul liCoordinate project documentation from electrical, mechanical, plumbing, architectural, and structural disciplines to meet customer requirements and production constraints. /li liWork with team members, Technical Leaders, contractors/vendors and consultants to resolve technical issues and ensure quality and integrity of engineering design executions. /li liOptimize designs in compliance with relevant regulatory codes, standards and best practices. /li liProven written and oral communication of technical information. /li liExcellent communication, organization and teamwork skills with a high level of attention to detail. /li liCapacity to work under pressure to meet deadlines. /li liFunctional knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, Autodesk REVIT, Autodesk Construction Cloud, AutoCAD 2D and Adobe Acrobat Pro. /li /ul /li libExperience Working In REVIT (preferred) /b – Fluent in English. /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 pSeguro de salud y de vida, tiempo libre remunerado, licencias parentales y de cuidado, opciones de trabajo flexible, apoyo para enfermedades crónicas y asesoramiento confidencial para los desafíos de la vida. /p pPlanificación e inversión en el futuro con compensación competitiva, incentivos a corto plazo, oportunidades de poseer acciones de la empresa y planes de ahorro para la jubilación. /p pDesarrollo de habilidades y carrera con proyectos, mentores y plataformas de aprendizaje. /p pEntorno de trabajo colaborativo, reconocimiento, encuestas de compromiso y apoyo a la comunidad con licencias de voluntariado. /p h3Equal Opportunity Statement /h3 pSchneider Electric aspira a ser la empresa más inclusiva y solidaria del mundo, ofreciendo oportunidades equitativas a todos.
