Data & Performance mission is to foster Group strategy execution leveraging data as an enabler for performance management. The Data streams focus on building and enhancing data foundations, work to connect data, break data silos in order to share one single & trusted version of data across the Group. Our ambition is to raise the overall Data Maturity of Schneider strategic. The Performance streams aim at leveraging this data environment to define, enhance or revisit the performance models and publish related power metrics. Within that scope Data & Performance has launched the SE Intel application which leverages SE’s new data lake aiming at providing data to all layers of the organization meeting their different content needs: Excom (strategic insights), BU & Ops leaders (transversal & granular), countries & entities (local and granular) and across functions. SE Intel application is expected to have up to 10,000+ users. The SE Intel Data Quality Stream Leader mission is to define, implement, and lead end-to-end data quality governance, ensuring that data consumed across SE Intel is trusted, timely, and fit for purpose at every level of the organization, from field operations to the ExCom. The role combines direct team management of a cross-functional squad of Data Engineers, Analysts, and Visualization Developers with close partnership with SE Intel Product Owners, Stream Leaders, Data Offices, and senior business stakeholders, governing quality across the enterprise offer portfolio and aligning with commercial roadmaps and business value. The Data Quality Stream Leader reports to SE Intel VP within Data & Performance / Governance and is dotted-line to SE Intel Product Owners. What will you do? Data Quality Strategy • Translate high-level data governance rules into concrete use cases for Reusable Data Objects (RDOs) and KPIs consumed in SE Intel, converting them into actionable data quality dashboards for stream leaders, data offices, and product owners., • Define and own the E2E data quality framework across SE Intel., • Partner with cross-functional data domains and data offices to govern the quality of the enterprise data, ensuring alignment with commercial roadmaps and business value., • Establish and maintain a single source of truth for 10,000+ business users, including Business Pulse and ExCom, to drive financial and sales performance management., • Act as the internal expert on data governance rules and data quality best practices; be capable of showcasing to any stakeholder. Development • Design and build data quality monitoring rules across all data sources, applying the company’s data quality framework to SE Intel’s key performance drivers (Digital Flywheel, Vitality Index, Opportunities, and others)., • Create and maintain data quality checks and dashboards per data source; prioritize with the product owner, stream leaders, and franchised data offices onboarded in the franchise model., • Drive backlog prioritization considering strategy, roadmap, stakeholder needs, and technical priorities; contribute actively to sprint planning and Agile ceremonies., • Ensure alignment with data quality guidelines and the company’s data maturity model from dedicated data quality centers of excellence., • Ensure excellent user experience by following SE Intel guidelines on design, security, performance, database architecture, and communication when building dashboards and KPIs., • Support the integration of AI-ready data quality standards as SE Intel evolves toward GenAI and conversational analytics capabilities. Run, Root Cause Analysis & Continuous Improvement • Ensure data quality on monthly disclosures and new releases; own critical data objects including Net Orders, Invoiced Sales, Opportunities, and the enterprise offer portfolio end-to-end., • Act as level-2 support for tickets raised in Service Now for Data Objects in scope; triage, assign, and track issues through to resolution in a reactive and agile manner., • Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Lead structured, deep‑Dive investigations into data quality failures across SE Intel’s data pipeline, from source systems through ingestion, transformation, and final presentation layers., • Apply systematic RCA methodologies (5‑Why, fishbone, or equivalent) to identify root causes at the data source, process, or governance level, not just surface‑level symptoms., • Collaborate with stream leaders, data engineers, and source system owners to validate findings and confirm root cause before proposing fixes., • Document and communicate RCA findings and resolution timelines to stream leaders, product owners, and management in a structured and timely manner; escalation of unresolved issues with prioritization to SE Intel management., • Preventive Action & Issue Closure: Ensure every resolved issue is followed through with a documented preventive action., • Define and implement preventive controls at the pipeline, governance rule, or data source level; work with technical teams to embed these controls into automated monitoring., • Maintain a preventive action log tracking status, ownership, target completion dates, and effectiveness reviews for all corrective measures., • Drive closure validation: confirm that implemented preventive actions demonstrably reduce or eliminate the recurrence of the identified issue class before closing a case., • Recurring Issue Pattern Analysis: Continuously analyze the DQ issue backlog to detect patterns, clusters, and systemic trends across data sources, domains, and time periods., • Support secure data extraction for ad‑hoc management needs, enforcing data security protocols: files in secured SharePoint, access limited to authorized users, regular file hygiene, and proactive communication with product owners on global data access. Team & Stakeholder Management • Directly manage a cross‑functional team of Data Engineers, Analysts, and Tableau/Visualization Developers, driving talent development, performance management, and operational excellence., • Lead cross‑team collaboration with stream leaders, business product owners, technical product owners, and data offices within the SE Intel franchise model., • Influence and convince stakeholders at all levels, including ExCom, on data quality strategy, escalations, and roadmap prioritization., • Lead change management and communication initiatives to drive adoption of DQ standards and processes across the SE Intel user community., • Participate in and contribute to working groups addressing SE Intel‑specific transformation challenges and ad‑hoc improvement projects. What qualifications will make you successful for this role? Experience & Skills • Master’s degree in a technical field (Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent)., • Mandatory: Prior experience in data quality, data governance, or data engineering; demonstrated expertise in DQ frameworks and end‑to‑end implementation., • Mandatory: Advanced SQL skills., • Strong plus: SAP SD data model and process knowledge, Salesforce, Tableau, Informatica Cloud, AWS/Redshift architecture., • Demonstrated experience managing or leading cross‑functional teams (engineers, analysts, developers)., • Project management experience with Agile methodology., • Strong leadership and communication skills; proven ability to engage top management (ExCom level) and their teams., • Experience working with global teams across different functions and geographies., • Data governance certification a strong plus (e.g., DCAM Certified, EDM Council or equivalent)., • Exposure to GenAI/AI product development, particularly in the context of data quality for AI pipelines and Text‑to‑SQL environments.
