ABOUT THE JOB We are looking for a Construction Manager to join the Corporate PMC team in our Bilbao, Madrid or Barcelona offices. The Construction Manager leads the planning and execution of construction activities across PMC projects, ensuring resourcing of project-specific professionals in the construction management and supervision domains, safe delivery, quality, schedule integrity, and cost control in alignment with the corporate PMC governance framework. The role coordinates EPCs/contractors, owners’ teams, PMC project teams and cross‑functional stakeholders to achieve predictable outcomes and successful handover. You will oversee constructability, site readiness, and disciplined execution from mobilization through mechanical completion and commissioning interface. Key responsabilities: • Pre‑Construction & Constructability: lead constructability and methodology definition across design, resourcing, mobilization, procurement support, and continuous improvement to ensure execution‑ready project setup., • Execution Planning & Scheduling: oversee the development and control of detailed construction schedules, ensuring alignment of field execution with engineering deliverables, material readiness, commissioning milestones, shutdowns, and high‑risk construction activities., • Field Supervision & Interface Management: coordinate multidisciplinary contractors and site teams while ensuring permit‑to‑work compliance, timely resolution of technical queries, and effective interfaces with commissioning, operations, and external stakeholders., • Safety, Quality & Compliance: drive HSE leadership and quality assurance, ensuring strict adherence to safety rules, inspection standards, regulatory requirements, and effective non‑conformance management., • Progress, Productivity & Cost Control: ensure accurate progress measurement, productivity tracking, validation of contractor claims, optimized resource utilization, and proactive recovery planning to safeguard schedule and cost performance., • Change, Risk & Issues Management: identify and manage construction risks, support disciplined change control, and ensure timely resolution and mitigation of critical issues with clear ownership and follow‑through., • Documentation, Reporting & Handover: ensure complete and accurate field documentation and reporting, while overseeing systemization, MC readiness, and a structured handover to commissioning and operations.
