About the role: As a Legal Manager, you will lead, coordinate and oversee all legal advisory activities for Bahia Principe. Your mission is to ensure regulatory compliance, safeguard the organization’s interests, and support strategic decision‑making through expert legal analysis. You will also play a key role in privacy, contracts, dispute resolution, and the alignment of legal standards across the company. What will your key responsibilities be? • Coordinate, draft and review a wide variety of contracts (hotel management, construction, suppliers, asset acquisition, data protection, etc.) ensuring legal compliance and favorable terms., • Oversee the analysis, management and resolution of claims and disputes involving clients or public authorities, collaborating with internal departments as needed., • Plan and monitor compliance with data protection regulations, developing internal policies and procedures aligned with privacy requirements., • Analyze the legal viability of corporate projects, identifying risks and providing recommendations to support strategic decision‑making., • Ensure compliance with national and international regulations, monitoring legislative changes and assessing their impact on the business., • Integrate regulatory updates into company policies and procedures., • Provide legal advice to internal teams on a wide range of issues, enabling efficient resolution of incidents., • Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with Bahia Principe operations., • Coordinate with external law firms, ensuring high‑quality legal services., • Conduct internal audits to ensure legal compliance and identify improvement areas., • Support legal tasks involving executive committees or the Board of Directors, drafting and reviewing required documentation., • Develop and deliver training programs on legal compliance and data protection., • Functionally coordinate legal teams across hotels to ensure consistent application of legal policies and standards., • Support the CLO when required., • Lead team management activities: workload distribution, performance evaluation, scheduling, motivation, and adherence to internal policies. What are we looking for? • University degree in Law; postgraduate studies in Commercial Law and/or Data Protection valued., • 5+ years of experience in legal roles within multinational environments, plus at least 2 years in team management., • Strong knowledge of commercial law, corporate governance, and company formation., • Experience drafting and applying Hotel Management Agreements (HMA)., • Valued experience in law firms (including litigation) and/or tourism companies., • Knowledge in European source markets and intermediated sales strategies is an asset., • Expertise in: jurisprudence, contracts, HMAs, claims, data protection, intellectual property, and hotel sector legalities., • Fluency in English and Spanish., • Proficiency in office tools and management systems., • Strong strategic mindset, results orientation, decision‑making ability, team leadership, collaboration, and customer orientation.
