About the Role At Revlon, we are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and visionary Director of Packaging Sustainability & Compliance to lead our global sustainability agenda across packaging innovation. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of beauty through environmentally responsible design, regulatory compliance, and data-driven transformation. You will embed sustainability at every stage of the packaging development lifecycle—from concept to commercialization—while ensuring alignment with Revlon’s brand values and global commitments. The role reports to the Global VP, Packaging, and is a core member of the Packaging Leadership Team, with global responsibility across categories and regions. Key Responsibilities Strategy & Vision • Define and lead Revlon’s global packaging sustainability strategy across all categories, • Develop digital, physical, and data capabilities to support sustainable growth and innovation, • Position sustainability as a competitive advantage, delivering against recyclability, CO₂ reduction, and plastic minimization targets Innovation & Execution • Lead packaging transformation initiatives, including material exploration and next-generation formats, • Integrate sustainability into New Product Development (NPD) processes, from ideation workshops through technical validation, • Ensure packaging strategies remain aligned with global legislation and brand roadmaps Compliance & Impact • Own and coordinate data collection and on-time reporting across all categories and regions, • Monitor, interpret, and translate EU, US, and international packaging regulations into actionable business strategies, including:, • EU PPWR, • US EPR laws, • APAC regional mandates, • Anticipate regulatory changes and proactively adapt innovation and compliance roadmaps, • Conduct Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs), recyclability testing, and downgauging assessments, • Build and deploy digital tools and reporting systems to optimize compliance and packaging taxation strategies Collaboration & Influence • Partner with cross-functional teams, including R&D, ESG, Procurement, Marketing, and Operations, as well as external stakeholders, • Influence senior leadership and global teams to align on sustainability priorities, • Navigate complex stakeholder environments and drive consensus across regions Success Metrics • Regulatory compliance and packaging tax optimization, • Achievement of Revlon’s sustainability targets in CO₂ and plastic reduction, • Delivery of the packaging innovation roadmap and investment plans About You: Qualifications • Master’s degree in Engineering (Packaging, Chemical, Mechanical), Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field, • Minimum 10 years’ experience in packaging sustainability within FMCG, cosmetics, or beauty, pharma, food & beverages sectors Skills & Experience • Deep knowledge of regulatory and sustainability frameworks (e.g., PPWR, EPR), • Strong understanding of packaging technologies and materials, • Proven experience working in global, matrixed organizations and leading cross-functional initiatives, • Strong leadership, organizational, and prioritization skills with a detail-oriented approach, • Ability to influence, align, and drive change at the senior leadership level, • Fluent English required; additional languages are a plus, • Demonstrated track record in developing and executing sustainability strategies Why Revlon • Opportunity to shape the global sustainability future of an iconic beauty brand, • High-impact, strategic leadership role with global visibility, • Collaborative, international environment driving innovation and responsibility
