About the Role As part of our continued growth, we are looking to strengthen our teams in Spain by hiring a Lifting Appointed Person (AP) to support our construction projects, including Data Centres, Logistics Hubs, Advanced Manufacturing Facilities, Cold Storage Warehouses and Battery Plants. Key Responsibilities: Lift Planning Review contractor lifting plans, including critical lifts, and provide support where required to achieve approval Select appropriate lifting equipment (cranes, slings, accessories) Calculate loads, radii, weights and crane configurations Risk Assessment Review and, where required, assist in the development of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) Identify potential hazards (power lines, structures, weather conditions, etc.) Operations Coordination Supervise lifting operations on site (crane operators, slingers, banksmen) Coordinate with construction, logistics and HSE teams Verify safe conditions prior to lifting operations Documentation Control Review and approve lifting plans Verify equipment and personnel certifications Ensure compliance with local regulations and client standards Site Supervision (Key Responsibility) Exercise authority to stop works in case of unsafe conditions Ensure procedures are properly implemented and followed on site Regulatory Compliance Apply relevant regulations (LOLER, PUWER or local equivalents) Ensure alignment with international and client-specific standards Requirements: Mandatory: CPCS A61 – Appointed Person (UK) or internationally recognised equivalent Training in: Lifting Operations & Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) Safe Systems of Work / RAMS Desirable: NPORS Appointed Person certification Training in rigging and slinging Construction Health & Safety training (e.g. 60-hour PRL or equivalent) Lifting operations coordination training Working at height certification Advanced HSE training Why Join TSL?
