Your mission: The modular Data Centers have been driving a tremendous growth to the segment during the last years. The PREFABRICATED DATA CENTER Line of Business integrates Schneider products into modular enclosures, test the systems in the factory and deliver the final solution to the country of destination. As PreFab Solution Architect you will work on projects of medium to high technical and commercial complexity. Primarily support early selling stages by providing expertise on Schneider's system and architecture platform. Support Opportunity Pursuit Leader by first understanding customer's business requirements and constraints, and then using tested validated architecture designs to meet customer requirements and bring a differentiating value proposition. Help explain and demonstrate the technical advantages of the architecture and answer deep technical questions on integration / compatibility of components inside an architecture. Your segment focus will be mainly Data Center Systems, Prefabricated Modular Data Centers. What will you do? Main Responsibilities: Capitalizing on in-depth knowledge of customer process, applications, and decision criteria in the segment. The Solution Architect works inside Europe and South America regions closely with the Sales to bring a differentiating value proposition to the customer, leveraging the complete Schneider Electric offer portfolio (Multi BU / Tier 3 solutions): electrical, mechanical, structural and fire systems. The Solutions Architects in our team have the responsibility to: • Understand the customer's segment specific business challenge, their process, needs, requirements and constraints to propose the best solution to the customer., • Support the Sales force and customers as a trusted advisor, technical consultant, and process expert to implement Schneider Electric cross domain segment solutions., • Define, use, and customize and create Tested, Validated & Documented Architectures (TVDA) to meet customer requirements and bring differentiating value proposition, design optimised and valid architectures filling the functional specification., • Help establish solution strategy and best practices., • Review customer RFQ and create the Compliance, Deviations and Exceptions list, • Influence customer RFQ. Translates such RFQ into possible technological solutions., • Provide complex technical design including technical proposals to be included in commercial proposals, • Internally coordination with the Business Units needed/involved in the tendering stage, • Capitalize on your in-depth knowledge of customer processes, applications, and decision criteria in your segment., • Works in conjunctions with the client and the development team to arrive at the recommended solution and provides direct support in meetings and presentations., • Presents recommended solution to client for validation and improvements., • Utilizes a base knowledge of Schneider Electric products and their use and demonstrates an understanding of the fundamental knowledge, processes and terminology needed., • Keeps abreast of technological developments and applications to initiate enhanced solutions., • Identify and promote actions that allow the development of technological solutions for customers., • Communicate and coordinate communications among key stake holders in the opportunity, including customer, Schneider entities and factories. Position Summary The BIM REVIT Designer is responsible for supporting the design activities within the prefab business. The role requires a thorough understanding of the industry as it relates to design and project scope. Key responsibilities include preparing all BIM draws needed to build a prefabricated solution according to customer requirements, or providing drafting support to Technical Leaders or Project Engineers during the tendering phase. Education The following educational requirements apply to this position: Bachelor's on Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or AA college degree in CAD or drafting studies is preferred. Skills The following skills apply to this position: • Minimum one-two years Autodesk REVIT MEP experience with advance training/experience in current REVIT software., • One or more years experience in BIM 360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud working in a collaborative environment, • Some experience in Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks or Creo to create manufacturing pieces., • Excellent communication, organization and teamwork skills with the ability to pay a high level of attention to detail., • Capacity to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines., • Experience on Building or industrial installations (Cabling, lighting, piping, plumbing). REVIT MEP., • Able to model in 3D LOD 350-400., • Fluent in English Valuable Experience • Data Center critical infrastructure could be a plus (not mandatory but very valuable) Roles and Responsibilities • Ability to demonstrate a basic understanding of accurate drafting methods, layering, X-References, dimensioning, model space/paper space, viewports and scaling., • Ability in using REVIT for structural, electrical and mechanical installations., • Ability to demonstrate using basic Revit MEP tools such as the Project Browser, Properties, Type Selector, Conduit and Cable Tray, and inserting a variety of family types.
