ppbBusiness: Modular Data Centers – Data Center Systems – Secure Power /b /p pbMission /b /p pThe Modular Data Center (MDC) Line of Business has delivered tremendous growth in recent years. MDC integrates Schneider Electric products into modular, factory‑tested enclosures and delivers complete turnkey solutions to destination countries. /p pThe Business Development Manager role is dynamic, with simultaneous responsibilities focused on keeping MDC messaging relevant, competitive, and aligned with evolving customer expectations. This includes supporting traditional routes to market, enabling sales engagement, collaborating with customers, and conducting ongoing market research to anticipate future technology, sustainability, and industry trends impacting the MDC segment. /p pClose engagement with RD, Marketing, Operations, Sales, and other Business Units is essential to understand market perception, identify needs for updated messaging and training, and detect new business opportunities. Strong presentation and training capabilities ensure that MDC’s value proposition is clearly communicated to both internal and external stakeholders. /p pA passion for innovation is a defining characteristic of this role. Success depends on understanding how the evolving IT landscape—AI, high‑density compute, liquid cooling, Edge, modular construction—reshapes customer needs and how MDC can unlock business value for diverse segments. The role empowers regional sales teams through impactful content, collateral, and insights that accelerate opportunity identification and conversion. /p pAdditionally, the role defines and executes the European commercialization strategy for MDC, acting as the central link between the market, sales, RD, operations, and global offer teams to ensure alignment of messaging, positioning, and innovation roadmap with customer needs, industry trends, and Schneider Electric’s strategic ambitions. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ol liMarket Awareness, Positioning Thought Leadership ul liDrive broad awareness of Schneider Electric’s Modular Data Center capabilities across Europe, internally and externally. /li liDeliver European‑targeted thought leadership (white papers, presentations, webinars, events) to engage customers on the benefits and applications of MDCs. /li liMaintain an updated understanding of trends accelerating MDC adoption in Europe: AI workloads, high‑density compute, liquid cooling, Edge deployments, microgrids, sustainability requirements. /li liAct as the voice of European customers and sales teams to Marketing, ensuring messaging accuracy and regional relevance; coordinate closely with the Regional Marketing League Leader to align campaigns, digital strategy, and content activation across Europe. /li liProvide training programs for internal external teams, in collaboration with MDC sales specialists. /li /ul /li liOffer Strategy, Innovation, and RD Collaboration ul liIdentify new technological opportunities relevant to the European MDC landscape and feed the global product roadmap with region‑specific requirements. /li liCollaborate with RD on innovation pathways; act as a technical contributor to the RD portfolio and customer‑driven advanced concepts. /li liCreate content around innovation: liquid cooling, AI‑ready MDC solutions, modular electrical distribution, sustainability‑driven architectures. /li liMonitor other BU roadmaps (Cooling, Secure Power, Software, Digital Services, Industrial Automation) to identify synergies and integrations that enhance MDC competitiveness. /li liLead the development of new strategic markets, especially the AI ecosystem, converting these opportunities into concrete commercial plans that accelerate MDC adoption in Europe including early adopter targeting, and AI‑specific value propositions. /li /ul /li liLaunch Strategy, Tools Training ul liDeliver European launch plans for new MDC offers and ensure successful regional rollout. /li liEnsure all stakeholders have the necessary collateral, messaging, sales tools, and competitive positioning tailored to European markets. /li liSupport lighthouse customer opportunities during early launch phases. /li liMaintain strong visibility of the opportunity pipeline;
