ITZU Executive Search has been mandated by LVD Group to recruit the Manager France, a key position within the French subsidiary located near Valenciennes. LVD is a Belgian industrial group, internationally recognized for its high-end sheet metal machinery, including press brakes, laser cutting machines, and punching machines. The company combines technical expertise, innovation, and close customer relationships to provide solutions tailored to the most demanding industrial needs. France represents a strategic market, and the Manager France will be responsible for developing the subsidiary while strengthening relationships with existing clients and expanding market share. Reporting to the Group Sales Director and directly to the Group CFO, the Manager France will oversee all operations of the French subsidiary. Key Responsibilities 1. Commercial Management and Business Development • Define and implement the commercial strategy adapted to the French market., • Lead and manage sales teams across 7 regions., • Develop key accounts and manage complex industrial projects (value >€1M)., • Oversee CRM and commercial performance tracking tools., • Actively participate in negotiation and closing of strategic sales., • Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain long-term relationships. 2. Operational Management and P&L • Hold overall responsibility for the subsidiary’s P&L., • Monitor budgets, margins, and operational costs., • Supervise after-sales service and technical support., • Drive operational efficiency and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. 3. Leadership and Team Development • Recruit, train, and develop local talent., • Unite geographically dispersed sales and technical teams., • Promote a collaborative and motivating work environment., • Support skill development and encourage versatility. 4. Representation and Subsidiary Visibility • Represent LVD to clients, trade shows, events, and specialized media., • Contribute to LVD’s image in France as a technical and commercial reference. The position requires regular travel within France and frequent interaction with the Belgian headquarters. Profile • Degree in engineering or advanced commercial education with strong technical aptitude., • 15–20 years of experience in industrial capital goods sales., • Proven experience managing commercial and technical teams (after-sales service)., • Strong expertise in managing complex industrial projects and budget oversight., • Recognized leadership, autonomy, and entrepreneurial spirit., • Fluent English and French is mandatory., • Client-oriented, strong interpersonal skills, able to lead dispersed teams.
