PRODUCT MANAGER BASED COLLÉGIEN, FRANCE (HYBRID WORKING), SALARY EXCELLENT PLUS BONUS AND BENS PACKAGE Grw Talents client has extensive experience in the engineering and manufacture of temperature-controlled laboratory equipment. Their work is centred on maintaining the integrity of samples throughout preparation and long-term preservation. By combining robust design, precise temperature control, and rigorous quality standards, they deliver high-performance solutions that laboratories can rely on with complete confidence. They are looking to recruit an experienced and professional Product Manager with a track record in leadership, strategic ownership, and cross-functional collaboration. This role is based in France and offered on a permanent contract.You will play a key role in the next product launch and future product developments to sustain the full product portfolio and solutions including services. The successful candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of the product range and drive innovation, operational excellence, and support business growth efficiently. Coordination with internal stakeholders, including sales, production, R&D, HR and marketing—is essential to ensure smooth execution of product-related activities, to guarantee customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: • Market Analysis and follow up, conduct market and competitive analyses to identify growth opportunities and guide portfolio positioning., • Define and implement the product strategy and roadmap for the laboratory equipment portfolio., • Serve as the voice of the customer internally to guide innovation and product enhancements Monitor product performance and profitability and propose corrective actions., • Support sales team with product introduction., • Visit key opinion leader with local sales representative to build a strong technical/application knowledge and a long-term relationship., • Prepare pricing guides in collaboration with the finance team., • Coordinate operational marketing with sales team & marketing for promotional activities., • Strategy - develop and maintain a multi-year roadmap incorporating cost optimization, standardization, compliance, and innovation initiatives., • Manage the entire product lifecycle, including introductions and end-of-life decisions., • Project Assessment with Market Analysis: Clearly articulating market needs and business justification and Specification Definition: Establishing detailed product specifications., • Ensure overall profitability and Return on Investment (ROI) for each project is fair., • Track product profitability throughout its lifecycle and recommend corrective measures., • Lead New Product Development projects from market requirements through to product launch, in collaboration with R&D, Production, and Quality teams., • Ensure project timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met by monitoring progress and coordinating cross- functional stakeholders, including Sales, R&D, Production, and Marketing., • Production Control - partner with Production and Quality teams to ensure industrialization, serviceability, and regulatory compliance., • R&D and Production Support: Report bugs and technical issues to R&D for resolution., • Support production forecasting and contribute to service manual development. Ideally you will have a Master’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or Business with experience in product management within the laboratory equipment, life sciences, or medical technology sectors. You’ll have the ability to manage international markets and support sales teams across diverse regions with experience in product launches and portfolio lifecycle management.
