POSITION SUMMARY In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating logistics projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and project management, with the ability to develop and implement efficient logistic strategies. The role demands excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. JOB RESPONSIBLITIES • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and budget requirements., • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle., • Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, ensuring timely delivery of materials and products., • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to the project timeline and budget., • Analyze current logistic processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs., • Utilize data analytics to monitor project performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions., • Track project expenses and ensure adherence to the allocated budget, identifying areas for cost savings., • Ensure all logistic activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies., • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment., • Manage and monitor project costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and overseeing initiatives aimed at optimizing budget efficiency while maintaining quality and timelines., • Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained to meet project demands without overstocking., • Prepare and present regular reports on project status, performance metrics, and logistics activities to senior management., • Drive Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) projects to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness within the logistics function., • Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to streamline logistics operations, applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies., • Analyze and optimize the end-to-end supply chain processes, ensuring efficient flow of materials and information from suppliers to customers., • Oversee logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Education: • A Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required., • An MBA or a Master's degree in Logistics, Operations Management, or a related discipline is highly desirable., • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or project management roles., • Proven track record in leading and executing logistics projects, with a focus on process improvement, cost optimization, and compliance., • Experience working within cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders in complex projects., • Prior experience in SQDC-related initiatives or implementing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies is highly advantageous., • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and logistics software is preferred., • Exposure to working in an international environment and managing projects across different regions is a plus. practices.
