Location: Paris Department: Academic Reports To: Head of Academic Coordinator, Campus Manager About the Company: The European School of Economics (ESE) is an International business school that offers a variety of short courses and British degree programs across its campuses in Madrid, Milan, Rome, Florence, London and now opening in Paris. ESE is dedicated to providing a holistic education that combines rigorous academic training with practical, real-world experience. About the Role: The Academic and Student Services Coordinator in Paris will be responsible for overseeing the smooth movement and regular attendance of students, assisting occasionally with visa and housing needs, and helping organise and attending social activities. Functioning also as student coordinator the successful candidate will work closely with the recruitment team, academic team, professors, students and on-site staff to ensure students are followed and engaged and to ensure all processes meet ESE’s quality standards and objectives. Responsibilities: • Oversee the smooth movement and regular attendance of students., • Create timetables on a termly basis according to students’ and teachers’ needs and in accordance with premises’ hours, • Ensure that all students are correctly registered and recorded on the student portal, • Ensure that incoming students receive a proper induction and understand relevant academic regulations, • Ensure that professors are aware of current syllabi requirements and act as liaison with the Head of Academic Coordination and ML’s in managing the creation of course material including exams, • Record students’ attendance and notify Campus Manager of excessive absences, • Advise students when limit of absences is reached by sending written notice (unless this function is automatic on the student portal), • Publish information regarding student events, changes in class etc on the student portal in real time, • Assist students in requesting transfers to other ESE centres, • Demonstrate use of student portal to new faculty and provide guidance and assistance when necessary, • Prepare classrooms for lessons and advise Campus Manager in real time if any equipment is lacking, faulty, missing or stolen., • Administer exams and liaise with Campus Manager to ensure each is invigilated, • Record exams by scanning them in a timely manner and forward them for marking to the appropriate lecturer or staff member, • Assist with visa and housing needs., • Help organise and attend social activities., • Work closely with the recruitment team, academic team, professors, students, and on-site staff., • Ensure all processes meet ESE’s quality standards and objectives. Qualifications: • Relevant educational background. Required Skills: • Strong communication skills., • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment., • Organisational skills. Preferred Skills: • Experience in an academic environment., • Familiarity with local visa and housing processes. Pay range and compensation package: Salary will be competitive based on experience.
