Role Summary We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support West Europe, with primary responsibility for France and future expansion into Belgium and Luxembourg. This role combines day-to-day HR support in an established market with building compliant and scalable HR structures for new entities. The HRBP will act as a trusted partner for managers and employees across the region, while also leading a small local HR team covering HR operations, talent acquisition, and people operations. The role is Paris-based with regular travel across West Europe to manage HR activities locally. Key Responsibilities 1. HR Operations & Compliance (France & West Europe): • Oversee HR operations in France, including payroll, benefits, policies, and compliance with labour law., • Act as the main point of contact with authorities, payroll providers, and external advisers., • Lead HR set-up and operations for Belgium (2026) and later Luxembourg, ensuring compliance with local requirements. 2. Business Partnering: • Serve as HRBP for managers and employees in France, Belgium, and Luxembourg., • Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and development., • Support leaders with organisation design, succession planning, and headcount growth. 3. Recruitment & Onboarding: • Manage end-to-end recruitment for France and future Belgian and Luxembourg entities, leveraging local job boards, direct sourcing, and talent networks., • Plan and run recruitment days and assessment centres for new store openings and seasonal ramp-ups., • Collaborate with the Europe Talent Acquisition team on regional roles where required., • Deliver structured onboarding programmes that embed POP MART culture and values. 4. Employee Relations & Culture: • Handle sensitive employee matters with professionalism and in compliance with local law., • Build trust with managers and employees as a reliable HR partner., • Support engagement initiatives and contribute to a performance-led culture. 5. Regional Projects & Cross-Border Collaboration: • Contribute to Europe-wide HR programmes such as performance management, compensation review, training, and HRIS roll-out., • Ensure local practices align with regional HR standards while adapted to country-specific frameworks., • Act as a bridge between West Europe, the Europe HR team, and HQ Beijing. 6. Team Leadership: • Manage and develop a small team of HR, Talent Acquisition, and People Operations executives., • Provide coaching, direction, and professional development to ensure effective service delivery., • Build team capability to support both day-to-day operations and future regional growth. Candidate Profile • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field., • Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, including HR generalist or HRBP roles., • Strong knowledge of French labour law; exposure to Belgian or Luxembourg employment law is an advantage., • Proven track record in employee relations, recruitment, and HR operations., • Experience managing a small HR or People Ops team., • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to partner effectively at all levels., • Pragmatic, organised, and adaptable to change., • Fluent in English and French; other European languages are a plus but not required., • Willingness to travel regularly within West Europe to manage HR activities locally.
