WHO YOU ARE We are seeking an experienced and strategic IT Applications & ERP Solutions Manager to oversee the entire lifecycle of our company's application portfolio, including our critical Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. You will be responsible for developing a global strategy, managing a dedicated team, and ensuring our technology solutions effectively support and enhance business operations. The ideal candidate is a leader who can balance high-level strategy with hands-on detail, manage complex projects, and foster strong relationships with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners. RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic & Financial Management • Develop and implement a global strategy and technology roadmap for the company's application and ERP landscape., • Prepare and manage the annual budget for your scope, ensuring diligent follow-up, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and promoting projects with a strong Return on Investment (ROI)., • Establish and enforce processes and procedures to ensure consistency, security, and efficiency in application management and deployment., • Provide effective reporting and KPI tracking in collaboration with the IT Coordinator to measure performance and inform strategic decisions. Application Lifecycle Management • Oversee the complete lifecycle of all business applications, from implementation and maintenance to decommissioning., • Assess the current application portfolio to identify redundancies and opportunities for rationalization and optimization., • Collaborate closely with business units to understand their needs, evaluate potential solutions, and deploy the right applications to meet their goals., • Maintain an up to date global application portfolio/catalogue, • Cost Optimization: Identify redundant applications, unused licenses, and high-maintenance legacy systems to reduce Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)., • Risk Reduction: Pinpoint applications with security vulnerabilities, compliance gaps (e.g., GDPR), or those built on unsupported technology., • Strategic Alignment: Ensure that the application landscape supports current and future business goals., • Operational Efficiency: Simplify the IT environment, reduce complexity, and improve support processes., • Informed Decision-Making: Provide stakeholders with the data needed for decisions on migration, modernization, or decommissioning., • AI: Assess and promote AI (Artificial Intelligence) opportunities and implementation ERP Management & Optimization • Ensure the stability and performance of current ERP systems, providing ongoing support to business users., • Analyze existing business processes and propose improvements and optimizations through ERP enhancements., • Lead the consolidation of ERP systems and drive future ERP deployments in various regions, working with technical teams to assess prerequisites and impacts., • Design and implement interfaces between ERPs and other applications to promote automation and increase internal efficiency. Industrial Applications • Assess the Current Scope and Create an Inventory, • Identify Obsolescence and Assess Risks, • Collaborate with the Business and Operations, • Propose a Modernization Plan and Roadmap Team & Stakeholder Leadership • Directly manage, mentor, and develop your team, promoting their skills and helping them achieve their objectives., • Provide cross-functional leadership by supporting regional teams in their initiatives while maintaining global standards., • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams (Infrastructure, Security, Network) to ensure alignment., • Demonstrate the ability to master all aspects of your scope and perform backup for any member of your team when necessary. Vendor & Contract Management • Manage relationships with external partners and suppliers, acting as the main point of contact., • Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and ensure value for the company., • Oversee supplier invoices and collaborate with accounting to ensure timely payments. Change Management • Awareness: Making sure everyone knows what the change is and why it's happening., • Understanding: Helping users comprehend the specific impact on their daily work., • Adoption: Getting people to actually use the new tool or process., • Proficiency: Ensuring users can use the new system effectively and efficiently.
