SENIOR EVENT PRODUCER - Freelance/CDD About SPORT[GEN] Summit SPORT[GEN] Summit is a premium, next-generation B2B Sport Business conference taking place in Paris on May 27–28, 2026, during the first week of the French Open. About the position The SGN team is growing and we are looking for a Senior Event Manager to join us on a CDD / short-term contract, starting January 2026. This role is perfect for someone highly operational, hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning complex premium event production end-to-end, from pre-event planning to on-site delivery and post-event wrap. In close collaboration with the founders your missions will include: Key Responsibilities Pre-event • Manage and coordinate key service providers: venue, catering, production, staging, AV, lighting, signage, furniture, security, host/hostess staffing, and other technical services., • Lead operational planning across all core functions: run of show, floor plans, accreditation, logistics flows, VIP experience, speaker logistics, partner deliverables., • Own supplier admin: quotes, purchase orders, invoices, contract follow-up, delivery timelines., • Contribute to global budget tracking, cost control, and operational forecasting., • Work cross-functionally with sponsorship, content/speakers, marketing/PR and ticketing to ensure seamless execution. During the event • Lead on-site operations for all phases: set-up, rehearsals, opening, live ops, and dismantling., • Manage external teams (suppliers, venue, security, production crews) and ensure execution is aligned with planning, schedules and expected premium standards., • Be the main point of contact on technical/logistical topics for partners, speakers, VIPs and internal teams., • Anticipate issues and solve quickly (technical, operational, customer-facing), with calm leadership under pressure. Post-event • Lead supplier evaluation and run a structured operational debrief., • Support closing: budget commitments, payments, final invoicing, closing of accounts., • Suggest improvements and document processes for future editions. In summary: You will be responsible for the operational preparation and on-site delivery of [SGN] and act as a core technical/logistical contact for suppliers, partners, speakers and the team. Required Skills • Strong knowledge of the B2B events industry (premium conferences, summits, high-end brand experiences)., • Fluency in French and English (written and spoken)., • Strong attention to detail, high standards, and ownership mindset., • Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and keep structure under pressure., • Strong communication skills with senior stakeholders (C-level guests, premium partners, VIP speakers). Expected training and experience • Master’s degree in Event Management or related field (preferred)., • Proven experience managing complex event operations and suppliers., • 5+ years of experience required., • Competitive salary and performance-oriented compensation (depending on contract length and experience).
