Business Development Manager - IRO Sushi (Tonbridge)

IRO Sushi is a rapidly expanding sushi restaurant and takeaway brand with over 30 locations across the UK, aiming to grow to 50+ sites. We focus on delivering fresh, high-quality sushi and Japanese dishes through our restaurants, delivery platforms, and franchise network. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Manager to join our head office team and contribute to our growth.



  • Identify and secure new business opportunities, including new store locations and franchise partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, agents, franchisees, and suppliers.
  • Oversee the franchise onboarding process, from initial enquiry to store launch.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Operations and Finance teams to ensure project feasibility and perform ROI analysis.
  • Prepare and deliver business proposals, financial projections, and presentations for potential partners.
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and potential growth areas.
  • Support marketing and branding initiatives to enhance IRO Sushi’s presence across the UK.
  • Ensure all new projects align with the brand’s quality, design, and operational standards.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Business Development, preferably within hospitality, retail, or franchising.
  • Proven track record of business expansion, franchise sales, or site acquisition.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and networking skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work both independently and within a team.
  • Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel to new and existing sites.
