Overview
Join our dynamic team as an Order Picker/Forklift Driver, where you will play a vital role in our warehouse operations! In this fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for efficiently picking orders and operating heavy equipment to ensure timely shipping and receiving. What you’ll do
Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks to load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and manage order picking processes accurately.
Execute shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring all products are accounted for and properly stored.
Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to OSHA safety regulations at all times.
Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure mechanical reliability and safety compliance.
Assist in training new team members on warehouse procedures and equipment operation.
Participate in inventory counts and help maintain accurate stock levels within the warehouse management system.
Basic qualifications
Proven experience in warehouse distribution or similar roles.
Familiarity with order picking processes and materials handling techniques.
Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation.
Preferred qualifications
Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor is a plus.
Certification in forklift operation or other heavy equipment is highly desirable.
Knowledge of construction practices can be beneficial for certain tasks.
