We’re now looking for a Fulfilment Assistant to join our Operations team and play a hands-on role in keeping our fulfilment, shipping and office operations running seamlessly. About the role As our Fulfilment Assistant, you’ll be a key part of our day-to-day operations — supporting fulfilment with packing and shipping orders, coordinating deliveries, maintaining systems, and helping keep both our warehouse and office running smoothly. You’ll work closely with our Fulfilment Manager, Customer Service, and wider Operations team, gaining exposure to multiple systems and processes. This is a varied, fast-paced role where attention to detail, clear communication and reliability really matter. Your work will directly shape how efficiently we operate — from customer orders and office logistics. Fulfilment & Shipping Operations Support the Fulfilment Manager with daily fulfilment and shipping operations Work across platforms including Royal Mail, Shopify, GoFlow and courier systems Assist with order processing, shipment coordination and system management Help create and maintain operational processes to improve efficiency and workflows Plan fulfilment activities and log key events to ensure deadlines are met Provide administrative support, including emails, follow-ups and documentation Maintain close communication with Customer Service and wider teams Support day-to-day coordination alongside the Fulfilment Manager Office & General Operations Support Help keep the office organised, functional and welcoming Allocate and manage stock across office and storage spaces Conduct daily checks and report issues to the Fulfilment Manager Ensure tools and equipment are available and maintained Arrange replacements or purchases when needed We’d love to hear from you if you… Are highly organised, reliable and detail-oriented Enjoy hands-on operational work and keeping things running smoothly Communicate clearly and confidently, both written and verbal Thrive in a fast-moving, growing business Are confident using systems and keen to learn new tools Enjoy being part of a close-knit, supportive team Take pride in doing things properly and improving processes over time Care about contributing to a positive, high-performing workplace Previous experience in a similar position would be an advantage Why join us? The role involves delivering safe, person-centred care that promotes independence, dignity, choice and wellbeing. You will travel between service users’ homes and provide support in accordance with individual care plans, risk assessments and agreed outcomes. Main duties and responsibilities • Support service users with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing, oral care and continence needs., • Administer or support with medication in accordance with care plans, MAR records, policies and competency requirements., • Assist with meal preparation, nutrition and hydration., • Support safe mobility, transfers and the use of prescribed equipment., • Encourage independence and enable people to complete tasks for themselves wherever possible., • Support service users with shopping, appointments and community activities where required., • Observe and report changes in a person’s physical health, emotional wellbeing, behaviour or circumstances., • Maintain accurate, respectful and contemporaneous electronic care records., • Report safeguarding concerns, incidents, medication errors, missed visits and other risks immediately., • Follow infection prevention and control procedures, including appropriate PPE and hand hygiene., • Maintain people’s privacy, dignity, confidentiality and human rights., • Work collaboratively with families, representatives, healthcare professionals and colleagues., • Attend training, supervision, team meetings, spot checks and competency assessments., • Follow lone-working, health and safety, emergency and on-call procedures., • Complete all scheduled visits punctually and remain for the commissioned duration., • Notify the office immediately of delays, absences or any risk of a visit being missed. Essential requirements Applicants must: • Have at least six months’ previous care experience., • Be compassionate, patient, reliable and respectful., • Communicate effectively in spoken and written English., • Be able to produce clear and accurate care records., • Be willing to work alternate weekends., • Be able to work independently and as part of a wider care team., • Understand professional boundaries and confidentiality., • Be willing to complete mandatory training and competency assessments., • Be eligible to work in the United Kingdom., • Complete an enhanced DBS and appropriate safer-recruitment checks., • Be a driver with access to a reliable vehicle where travel between service users is required., • Hold valid business-use motor insurance before undertaking work-related journeys. Desirable requirements • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care., • Previous domiciliary or community-care experience., • Experience supporting people living with dementia, learning disabilities, physical disabilities or long-term health conditions., • Medication-administration experience., • Knowledge of safeguarding, the Mental Capacity Act and person-centred care. Working hours The role may include: • Morning, lunchtime, evening and bedtime visits., • Weekday and weekend work., • Alternate weekends., • Bank holidays., • Additional hours depending on service requirements and availability.
