A leading interior design firm in Treforest is recruiting a Design Sales Consultant specializing in high-end bathrooms and kitchens. Ideal candidates will have retail sales experience in bathrooms or kitchens, a passion for interior design, and strong communication skills.

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Engineer to support a range of construction projects. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality mechanical engineering solutions, from initial design through to project completion, ensuring full compliance with client requirements and relevant legislation. Key Responsibilities • Carry out mechanical engineering design calculations and produce drawings and specifications, • Assist in the preparation of tender documentation, • Design, programme, and supervise projects with minimal supervision, • Oversee heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) installations, • Supervise on-site works and manage contractors, • Monitor and direct Clerks of Works and Inspectors as required, • Liaise effectively with client representatives and stakeholders, • Ensure adherence to contract documentation and quality standards, • Prepare cost estimates from pre-contract stage through to final account agreement, • Comply with all organisational procedures, financial regulations, and standing orders, • Represent the organisation professionally, maintaining its reputation and profile Candidate Profile • Strong experience across all areas of mechanical engineering design, • Proficient in IT systems and AutoCAD (essential), • Ability to manage projects independently and meet tight deadlines, • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, • Self-motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic Qualifications & Experience • HND/HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, • Minimum of 10 years’ post-qualification experience, • Proven track record in construction management, • Experience managing contracts and contractors, • Demonstrated high-level technical expertise within the construction industry Additional Requirements • Full UK driving licence (essential)
