Role responsibilities To lead a multi-year, multi-million-pound digital transformation programme shaping Transport for Wales's customer experience strategy. This includes the Multi-Modal App and Digital Environment, ensuring integrated, accessible, and user-focused services are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards, enabling a step-change in how millions of customers access and use public transport across Wales. • Lead strategic programme delivery by managing scope, outcomes, delivery cadence, and team structure across a £5 million multi-year programme, ensuring successful implementation of TfW's multi-modal app and digital ecosystem used by millions of passengers., • Shape and Govern Technical Architecture through the collaboration with product, architecture, and technical teams to define scalable APIs, platforms, and data models, to ensure a robust, integrated digital environment. Define and govern technical architecture in collaboration with product, architecture, and technical teams, ensuring scalable APIs, platforms, and data models enable robust, integrated services., • Champion User-Centred, Accessible Design through Embedding user needs and accessibility principles through continuous research, testing, and feedback loops to drive iterative improvement., • Manage Digital Delivery Partnerships through overseeing relationships with app/web developers, backend providers, payment platforms, and integration specialists to align commercial alignment and performance., • Degree level qualification in IT, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field., • Have a project management qualification such as APM or PRINCE2 or similar., • Proven experience leading large-scale, complex digital or technology transformation programmes with multiple delivery partners in a public sector or regulated environment., • Experience in delivering high-quality digital products (apps, portals, platforms) for end users, ideally in transport, mobility, or public-facing sectors.
