SEN Teacher – Primary Autism Provision (Lambeth) Full-time | Long-term | Immediate Star Location: Lambeth, South London Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm Start Date: Immediate or after half term Are you a passionate and creative teacher with a strong commitment to inclusive education? We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a thriving Primary School Autism Provision in Lambeth, supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and associated communication and social needs. The School This inclusive and welcoming primary school has a specialist autism provision designed to provide a nurturing, structured, and engaging environment for pupils with a diagnosis of Autism. The team is highly skilled, collaborative, and dedicated to ensuring each child can thrive both academically and personally. The Role As the SEN Teacher, you will: • Lead a small class of pupils with ASD (EYFS or KS1/KS2 depending on experience), • Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning profiles, • Foster communication, independence, and emotional regulation, • Work closely with a team of experienced Teaching Assistants, therapists, and SENCO, • Track progress using individual education plans (IEPs) and EHCP targets, • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent), • Experience teaching children with Autism and/or additional needs (school or specialist setting), • Strong understanding of autism strategies (TEACCH, PECS, Makaton, sensory integration etc.), • Patient, reflective, and passionate about inclusive education, • Supportive leadership and excellent CPD opportunities, • Opportunity to work in an established and respected SEN provision, • Competitive pay rates, • Long-term or permanent opportunity
