All successful applicants will be required to complete our corporate trust induction once a start date has been agreed. As part of your induction, you will be required to attend face-to-face training sessions and/or complete e-learning modules relevant to your role. If you have previously worked for another NHS organisation before joining Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust (MTW), we can transfer eligible mandatory training records where appropriate, helping to avoid unnecessary duplication of learning. Person specification Qualifications Essential criteria • MB BS (or equivalent), • MRCOG part 1, • Evidence of training progression, • Full GMC registration with a license to practice Desirable criteria • MRCOG part 2, • MRCOG part 3, • Other qualifications -ACLS/ALS/APLS, • Prizes Clinical Skills & Experience Essential criteria • Appropriate skill levels to provide resident on call duties on the third on call rota equivalent to completion of RCOG basic training including independent competence at operative vaginal delivery, uncomplicated Caesarean section, foetal blood sampling, perineal repair, evacuation of uterus, Surgical Management of Miscarriage, • Experience and familiarity with UK hospital systems and practices (or equivalent) Desirable criteria • Laparoscopic management of ectopic pregnancy Knowledge Essential criteria • Evidence of understanding and knowledge of specialty Desirable criteria • Evidence of interest in O&G eg: audit or quality improvement project.
