The Role We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Showroom Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day leadership of our Esher showroom. This role is key to delivering an outstanding customer experience, driving showroom sales, and maintaining the high standards expected of a premium bathroom showroom. Working closely with the Showroom Manager, you will help lead the team, manage the sales process from enquiry to order, and ensure the showroom operates smoothly and professionally at all times. Key Responsibilities • Support the Showroom Manager in the daily running of the showroom, • Deliver an exceptional customer journey, from initial consultation through to order completion, • Assist customers with bathroom design concepts, product selection, and quotations, • Drive showroom sales performance while maintaining margin and service standards, • Lead by example on the showroom floor, ensuring presentation and displays are kept to a high standard, • Build strong relationships with homeowners, developers, designers, and trade customers, • Support team training, coaching, and development, • Assist with stock control, order processing, and supplier coordination, • Step into the Showroom Manager role when required About You • Previous experience as a Showroom Assistant Manager, Senior Bathroom Sales Consultant, or similar role within a bathroom or interiors showroom, • Strong sales ability with a consultative, customer-first approach, • Confident communicator with good people and organisational skills, • An eye for design, detail, and showroom presentation, • Comfortable working with bathroom design software (e.g. Virtual Worlds or similar), • Commercially aware and motivated by delivering high standards and results, • Professional, approachable, and well-presented What We Offer • Competitive salary, • Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) – giving you a real stake in the success of the business, • Profit-sharing opportunities linked to company performance (subject to scheme rules), • Company pension, • Holiday entitlement plus bank holidays, • Ongoing training and development within a premium retail environment, • A supportive, people-led culture with long-term career opportunities Why Join Bathroom Gallery?
