When you sign up, you make it possible for us to go to schools in your area and say, “You don’t need to rely on agencies, you can book these educators directly through Flexzo Teach without an agency or the additional charges that come with the current agency recruitment model" About the Role We’re looking for Cover Supervisors who want: • Flexible work with local schools, • Direct bookings, schools contact you via the platform, • Control over your time and pay, you set your availability and your rates You are not “represented” by an agency. Instead, schools see your profile, your experience and your rates, and decide to book you directly with no middleman interference and full transparency. Responsibilities • Supervise classes in the absence of the classroom teacher, • Deliver pre-prepared work and keep pupils on task, • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies, • Follow safeguarding and child protection procedures, • Communicate clearly with school staff before and after cover What You Get • You set your own rates on your profile, • You control your availability, choose when and where you work, • Direct school relationships, no agency middle-man managing your bookings, • More local opportunities over time as we grow the number of schools in your area, • One simple compliance process (SCR) shared with multiple schools via the platform Qualifications • Experience working as a Cover Supervisor (or similar classroom-based role), • Confident classroom management, • Strong communication skills with staff and students, • Right to work in the UK, • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain) and up-to-date safeguarding awareness Required Skills • Experience working as a Cover Supervisor (or similar classroom-based role), • Confident classroom management, • Strong communication skills with staff and students, • Right to work in the UK, • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain) and up-to-date safeguarding awareness Preferred Skills • Experience across different key stages and subjects, • Work history in a range of school types (e.g. mainstream, academies, PRUs), • Flexibility to work across nearby areas Pay range and compensation package You set your own day rate/hourly rate within the Flexzo Teach platform but you will speak with an advisor who can consult you on the best rate for your experience and qualifications.
