We provide Independent Mental Health and Mental Capacity Advocacy Services across most of South Wales, employing 54 employees. About the role The post holder will provide support to clients who lack capacity and to implement the safeguards of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 or the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards. They will provide non-instructed advocacy (NIA) support to people who lack capacity to make specific decisions and who have no-one else to support them. The successful candidate will travel efficiently and effectively within the Advocacy Support Cymru area of operation. This role will operate within Swansea Bay University Health Board and the Hywel Dda University Health Board Area. About you You will have experience working with vulnerable adults and/or children, either within health or social care setting, or indirectly, for example as a carer.
