Scheme Manager - Homeownership - Part Time Broadstairs, Kent £19,538 - £20,143 per year 27.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 8am to 2pm We have an opportunity for a Scheme Manager - Homeownership to join our Homeownership team in Broadstairs. The role is lone working, there are 4 other scheme managers within the South East Homeownership team who report to the Homeownership Officer. This is a rewarding yet challenging role and is ideal for someone who has previous experience of working with older people in a housing management setting and aware of safeguarding concerns. The role of Scheme Manager - Homeownership will include: • Responsible for providing a high-quality housing management service, including welfare checks, and promoting independent living, • Providing tenancy advice to residents, • Encouraging residents to organise and get involved in activities, • Completing mandatory compliance tasks along with health and safety checks, • Reporting and monitoring repairs to conclusion, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed, • Wellbeing calls to residents via warden call system, • Supporting the lettings team to manage vacant flats, • Providing cover at schemes in the region for other Scheme Managers, • Numeracy and literacy to the equivalent of GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths, • Some experience of working with older people and understanding their individual needs or similar, • Ability to work alone and manage workloads to meet deadlines, • Working knowledge of handling confidential and sensitive information, • Good interpersonal and customer care skills We are a not-for-profit housing association, and own and manage around 125,000 homes.
