Average of 60 hours per week plus overtime. Site 1: Monday night 17:00 – 05:00, Tuesday night 17:00 – 05:00, Saturday Day 05:00 – 17:00 Site 2: Sunday Day 08:00 – 21:00, Thursday Day 08:00 – 20:00 Benefits: Training provided, Uniforms provided, Holidays worked out pro rata, Pension scheme and many more. An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for an experienced Security Officer - to join our team covering the gatehouse and Security office of a Birmingham based company. This position will be as part of a team of Security Officers working within a planned Roster. This opportunity is a fixed permanent position and is suitable for officers looking for full time work, working a 62hr per weekday and night duties (overtime available on off days). We will require all interested applicants to be fully flexible in their approach and attitude. Your main responsibilities will include: • Security Manned Guarding & Reception duties, • Access/Egress Control Duties, • Regular/Irregular Site Inspection Patrols of the Assignment via, • CCTV Monitoring Duties., • Switchboard Operation, • Performing regular Health and Safety checks., • Regular and accurate report writing., • Dealing with First Aid situations as/when they arise., • Carrying out any other reasonable management requests., • Proactive interaction with the customers, tenants, authorised visitors and general public offering superb customer service., • Dealing with deliveries, enquiries and reporting any issues on site., • Covering all required security related duties as/when required. To succeed in this role, you will need the following: • Applicants must be aged 18+ with a valid SIA License., • Must have a 5-year checkable work or back to school history., • Proof of right to work and live in the UK., • Desirable: First Aid Certification, Fire Marshall Certification, CCTV Licence, Full Clean Driving Licence., • Very smart with an excellent command of the English language., • ‘Public Facing’ experience., • Able to work as part of a Team and also on own., • Approachable, Diplomatic, Ability to think ‘Outside the Box’ – when applicable., • High expectation of customer service delivery.
