    We are looking for a passionate, caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly early years team. The successful candidate will play an important role in providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop and thrive. You will work closely with colleagues to plan and deliver engaging activities that support children's individual interests, development and learning. We are looking for someone who is reliable, professional and genuinely passionate about working with children and making a positive difference to their early years experiences. Key Responsibilities • Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0–5 years., • Build warm, positive and trusting relationships with children and their families., • Support children's learning and development in line with theEarly Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)., • Plan and provide engaging, age-appropriate activities based on children's interests and developmental needs., • Observe, assess and record children's progress and contribute to their individual learning journeys., • Support children's personal, social and emotional development., • Encourage children's independence, confidence and communication skills., • Maintain a safe, clean and stimulating environment., • Follow safeguarding, health and safety, hygiene and nursery policies and procedures., • Work effectively as part of a team and communicate professionally with colleagues and parents/carers., • Support daily routines including meals, sleep times, nappy changing and personal care where appropriate., • Attend staff meetings, training and professional development opportunities., • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the nursery and the quality of care provided. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Customer Service: • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements., • Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions about menu items, beverages, and other restaurant services., • Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff promptly. 1. Order Management: • Ensure that all orders are prepared and served according to the restaurant’s standards and within a reasonable time frame., • Serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring the correct dishes are delivered to each customer., • Check back with customers to ensure satisfaction with their meals and beverages. 1. Dining Area Maintenance: • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including setting up and clearing tables, refilling condiments, and resetting tables after guests leave., • Monitor the dining area for spills, messes, and other potential hazards, addressing them promptly to maintain a safe environment., • Assist with the arrangement of seating and tables to accommodate reservations and walk-in guests. 1. Complaint Resolution: • Handle customer complaints and concerns professionally, seeking to resolve issues to the customer’s satisfaction., • Escalate unresolved complaints to the Floor Manager or Restaurant Manager when necessary. 1. Compliance and Safety: • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food safety and sanitation standards., • Follow all restaurant policies and procedures, including those related to uniform, grooming, and punctuality., • Attend regular training sessions on service standards, food handling, and emergency procedures. Qualifications: • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting., • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills., • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude., • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively., • Basic math skills for handling payments and making change. Physical Requirements: • Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays of food and beverages for extended periods., • Capable of lifting and carrying items up to 25 pounds., • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
