Job Description: Home Manager (Registered Nurse – RGN) Job Title: Home Manager Location: Preston (PR2 2FT) Salary: £72,500+ per annum + bonus scheme Reports to: Regional Operations Director Service Type: Elderly Nursing & Dementia Care (70 beds) Expanding Job Purpose To take overall responsibility for the management and operation of a purpose-built nursing home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and effective care in line with regulatory requirements and organisational standards. As such, the role offers a technically engaging mix of compliance advisory, engineering assessment, stakeholder management, and on-site technical oversight. You will be working on a wide range of healthcare facilities, from large acute hospital estates through to specialist treatment centres and community healthcare sites. The work is highly influential, directly contributing to patient safety, operational continuity, and regulatory compliance. Ideally, you will come from a Building Services Consultancy, NHS Estates, FM, Contractor, or Compliance background, with strong knowledge of healthcare engineering standards and HTM guidance. Experience within critical environments and familiarity with healthcare compliance processes will be highly advantageous. HNC/HND or Degree qualified in Building Services Engineering (or similar) is preferred. Membership of CIBSE, IHEEM, or relevant professional bodies would be beneficial.
