The enrichment team works closely with the therapies team to support with communication, assistive technology, hydrotherapy, and rebound therapy, but we also provide access to a range of activities like arts and crafts, sailing, abseiling, and music sessions. We are now looking for an enthusiastic, creative, proactive and passionate Activities Coordinator to join our dedicated Enrichment Team. The hours for the role are expected to be 08:30am - 4pm, Monday to Thursday and 8:30am - 3pm on Fridays, but this is subject to change as the service grows and expands, and may include some weekend working in the future. Role: Night Support Worker (Part-time) (Conkers) Location: Conkers, Mirfield, WF14 0DQ Salary: £12.91/hr Hours: 24hrs per week. x2 shifts per week. Our dedicated residential teams work with our therapists, enrichment team, and clinical team to ensure that we provide quality of life, for life. As a night support worker in Conkers, you will provide support with personal care, eating and drinking, and a range of relaxing activities for young people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and complex needs. No two nights will ever be the same, and you will learn something new on every shift. All training will be given, and you do not need to be a driver to apply for this role. To meet the needs of our adults, our Support Worker teams work a variety of shift patterns and hours, however we do ask that you are able to work from 7am or until 9:30pm at night depending on your weekly rota. Rotas are issued in advance, and your 4-week rota will follow a pattern, so you can always plan ahead for your days off. Shifts are typically 7.5hrs to 12.5hrs in length, including weekends. Day to day role of a Support Worker: Your days at Hollybank will be as varied as the people we support, however your typical day to day role will include: Supporting with meals and drinks, and to help them to get excited about being involved in cooking and baking! Helping with their personal care, including bathing and showering, so they look and feel great. Engaging in meaningful activities both at home and out in the community - whether that's the cinema, bowling, or abseiling. Building a relationship with the adults and their families, so that you can provide truly person-centred, individualised care. Supporting adults to access our on-site Hydrotherapy pool (don't worry, you don't need to be a strong swimmer!) and Rebound trampoline - guided by qualified Physiotherapists and Lifeguard trained staff.
