    Class 1 HGV Drivers Salary: £17.00 to £20.15 per hour (Inc Holiday pay) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (Temp-to-Perm Opportunities) Contract Length: 12 months (with the possibility of extension or permanent placement) Expected Hours: Minimum 50 hours per week We’re looking for HGV C&E Class 1 Day Drivers to join the team in Alfreton. Immediate starts are available! All work is Trunking to RDC's with no Handballing. Fixed shift patterns available on guaranteed rotas. There is potential to earn over £1000 per week based on shifts and overtime. All Shifts are block-booked weekly with long-term opportunities. What We Offer: Flexible Working Hours: Choose between 10-hour or 12-hour shifts with both day and night shifts available. Start Times: Flexible between 12:00 and 20:00 Day Rate: £17.00 per hour Night Rate: £17.50 per hour Saturday Rate: £19.05 per hour Sunday Rate: £20.15 per hour (All pay quoted is inclusive of holiday pay as part of a ‘rolled up’ rate) Key Responsibilities: · Safely drive Class 1 vehicles and complete deliveries within specified time frames. · Ensure the vehicle is clean, safe, and well-maintained. · Complete daily checklists and paperwork as required. · Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations. What We Require: · Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience (essential). · A valid HGV C&E Class 1 license. · Must be reliable and flexible with working hours. · A strong focus on safety, punctuality, and professionalism.

Skills and responsibilities: · Strong verbal and written communication skills · Capability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive work environment. · Understanding budgeting, invoicing, and financial reporting to effectively manage office expenses. · Proficiency in managing time efficiently to meet deadlines and handle various responsibilities. · Familiarity with office management software, spreadsheets, and other relevant technology. · Ability to negotiate contracts and service agreements with vendors and suppliers. · A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree
