Job Title: Solutions Architect Salary: £70,000 to £80,000 Location: Hybrid role on site and in office based in and around London Overview We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect Security Solutions to join our clients growing pre-sales team. Acting as a trusted technical advisor, you will work closely with account managers, vendor partners, and clients to identify business challenges, translate them into security requirements, and design tailored, high-impact solutions. This role is pivotal in driving business growth, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring our client delivers innovative, compliant, and effective security outcomes. Key Responsibilities Partnering with Sales Collaborate with sales teams to qualify opportunities and align client needs with the right security solutions. Conduct discovery sessions with business and technical stakeholders to uncover requirements. Deliver engaging presentations, demos, and proof-of-concepts that clearly communicate value and differentiation. Solution Architecture Design comprehensive security architectures across network, endpoint, identity, cloud, and data protection domains. Ensure alignment with industry frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and CIS, and compliance with regulatory standards (PCI-DSS, HIPAA, etc.). Produce proposals, Bills of Materials (BOMs), high-level designs, and Statements of Work (SOWs). Vendor & Partner Engagement Work with leading vendors (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, Microsoft, CrowdStrike, etc.) to ensure optimal solution fit. Maintain awareness of vendor roadmaps, certifications, and competitive positioning. Provide vendor-neutral recommendations when appropriate to best serve client needs. Sales Enablement & Strategy Support account teams in developing winning sales strategies for security-focused opportunities. Provide technical content for bids, RFPs, and client proposals. Contribute to developing repeatable solution templates and packaged service offerings. Client Advocacy Act as a trusted advisor, helping clients understand risk, compliance, and security posture. Build long-term, consultative relationships with both technical and executive-level stakeholders. Ensure all delivered solutions achieve measurable business and security outcomes. Qualifications & Skills Education & Experience Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 5 years experience in IT security, with at least 2 years in a pre-sales or solutions architecture role. Background working with or for a VAR, Systems Integrator, or Security Vendor highly desirable . Technical Expertise Strong understanding of enterprise security technologies, including firewalls, SIEM/SOAR, IAM, DLP, SASE, Zero Trust, and cloud security. Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP security services. Broad understanding of networking, virtualisation, and enterprise infrastructure. CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent security qualification. (Preferred) Relevant vendor certifications (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco Security, Microsoft, CrowdStrike, etc.). (Preferred) Excellent presentation and communication skills, able to engage both executives and technical audiences. Ability to simplify complex topics and align solutions to business outcomes. Consultative approach with strong problem-solving and relationship-building skills.
